[ the door of the car closes with a light thudas he gets out. slips the sunglasses off his eyes & onto his head, nestled into his hair; he's dressed rather casually today, red dress-shirt with its top two buttons undone & the rest in a suit-like attire. seems to blend right into the crowd as soon as he enters the building, surrounded by people who live to sell their looks. ignores the gazes, entirely faithful to his purpose at present. he only stops once to ask for directions --

"Tell me. Where would Brianna be at this hour?"

& he saunters into the area, standing in the shadows as he watches the flashes of light caress brianna's form, appreciative. ]

A promise, then.

[ pulls his head away completely, releasing her almost reluctantly as he takes two steps away, fixing his shirt & suit. ]

Oh, you're too kind~

[ looks pleased, even if he moved away. instead reaches down for her pants, as they mysteriously fell out of her hands along the way.

pull. zip. shift; looks pretty much ready to go. ]

[ inclines his head & heads for the door, opening & keeps it open, waiting for her to exit first. ]

[ grabs the purse seated on a chair by the door, stepping out with a wink to albert. catwalks towards the exit, saying short "goodbye"s to people who wave and say the same. ]

[ closes the door behind him but does not move, feeling slightly off-kilter in having to follow her a second time. blinks once, turns & takes a different route to the parking lot, humming under his breath as thoughts of the upcoming masquerade begin to monopolize his mindspace. ]

[ doesn't even look behind her, pausing briefly every now and then when stopped to talk for a handful of seconds at most.

it might take a minute or two for her to get to the car (it's not like she hasn't seen it before), but she arrives after albert, sighing slightly under her breath. ]

[ hasn't gotten into the car yet, the thoughts too strong in rousing his anticipation. expression does brightening momentarily when he sees her, however, as well as curiosity at the sigh.

tilts his head. silent inquiry. ]

[ looks up after a moment or two, giving a smile, one hand going on her hip as an eyebrow rises. ]

I'm such a busy woman.

[ brushes aside some bangs from her face gently, actually brotherly in feel. fingers slide down the side of her face & retreats as he straightens. ]

My bed's at your disposal.

[ giving a fleeting appreciative look, returning to neutral once more, idly pushing her own hair back behind her shoulder. ]

I will remember that.

No need. It will always be at your disposal.

Even in the middle of the night~?

Always, princess.

[ looks pleased enough with his answer, though leans forward and licks her lips briefly. ]

Guess I'll be staying in your room tonight, then.

[ follows the motion pointedly, but exercises self-control as he raises a hand to stop any more advancement.

extracts himself from between the car & her, moving around to get at the door of the driver's seat. looks at her before he slips into the car. ]

Have anywhere you'd like to go?

[ doesn't bat an eyelash at that before she slides onto the passengers seat, still feeling distinctly accomplished (happy) for some reason.

peers up at the ceiling of the car, humming. ]

Not really~ Hungry, but I'll eat at home.

[ into the car he goes, starting it & they're on their way. they're traveling rather fast, but he seems to enjoy it, dodging the sparse traffic on the high way.

a window goes down soon after, whipping air into the car, messing up his hair. & he just might be smiling. ]

[ is used to the speed and thrill, simply leaning back to enjoy it and soak in the peaceful silence. can't help but turn her head slightly in albert's direction, watching his face with a neutral one on hers.

very, very slowly smiles at his smile, carefully turning her head back to center after she had her share of a look. ]

[ they seem to have taken the long way home, but they arrive there all the same. when the engine rumbles to a slow stop, he leans back against the car seat briefly, as if expelling the rest of the adrenaline. that over, he casts brianna a sideways smirk & getting out of the car.

he doesn't wait for her when he starts making his way towards their home, but his steps are slow enough to give away the silent communication. ]

[ raises an eyebrow at his back, as usual, a tiny hint of amusement and understanding on her face as she steps out of the car and follows.

is suddenly snapped out of those thoughts when her (second) phone vibrates in her purse, taking it out to slide it open and stare down at it. closes her eyes briefly, making a decision to shut it off for now, slipping it back into her bag while slowly catching up without too much trouble. stays a few steps back regardless, allowing albert to take the full lead. ]

[ the languid steps continue until they arrive at the front door. upon entering the mansion, his back straightens in a stationary half-stretch of his muscles, releasing them from the tension-relaxation pattern of the short outing.

he then turns around so that he is facing her when she enters. ]

Welcome home, princess.

Why thank you, handsome~

[ says that pointedly yet sultry, as if it's a secret code of some sort. doesn't take anymore steps from the door (nor him) just yet, briefly glancing elsewhere before her gaze falls back upon albert. ]

[ tilts his head in his typical telltale behaviour of thoughtfulness. steps up towards her, a hand goes up & above her head to pull & push the door relatively closed. leans his head down closer to hers, eyes flickering with amusement. ]

Here? Or the bath?

[ tilts her head slightly, giving him a mock pout, even if her eyes don't lie. nonchalantly lifts a finger, trailing it down his face. ]

Well, I am a little bit dirty, I suppose.

[ turns his head slightly to catch her fingers between his lips & teeth gently, nipping. teasing. comes up against her even closer, even if his hands do not yet move. ]

Then I suppose it'll have to be the bath.
