[ rounding the table, he stands in front of her & puts a hand behind her head to push it towards his chest in an awkward, almost-hug. ]

[ is actually surprised for a split second there. shifts back to neutral again and smiles into his chest, though she only makes a small, gentle pat to his arm in reply in appreciation. ]

[ stays, but decides this is as much as he'll get. gives her hair two gentle strokes before stepping away, giving her personal space again. scratches the back of his head & backward-peddles back into his chair. ]
