A few hours? Haven't we already been here for like. Ten hours or something?

No way! It's gotta be at least double that. Maybe even triple-!

[ looks at albert and then turns slightly to flip open his phone, checking the time. shrugs it off when he half-notices that he's wrong and shove it back into his pocket, moving back into position. ]

Well, whatever. I'll be out of here soon.

[ inclines his head once in agreement, not at all surprised. he does, however, decide to voice a nagging curiosity, mostly out of amusement: ]

[ yawns loudly, dramatically. an attempt at distracting albert. ]

[ eyebrow goes up again, amusement doubling as he tilts his head in thought. ]

No midnight rendezvous with your Xbox tonight?

[ another pause, then, looking as if he's stuck. a blank look crosses over his features. all he can get out is one simple word: ]

[ chuckles again, the sound light. steps away from the corner, his body language makes it plain that he's about ready to leave, already having caught sight of a mop of black hair in the not-so-distant distance.

reaches out a hand to smooth down his baby brother's hair to make room so that he can comfortably lean down to give him a kiss to the head; a customary parting. leans away & removes his hand. ]

Eat with moderation. Your brother is not a doctor yet.

[ smile returns as he nods once. begins walking soon afterward, a hand landing quietly on damon's shoulder as he passes, giving it a light squeeze before he's gone. ]
