[ is standing near the entrance of the starbucks where he had first met nathan, looking strangely compliant & calm as he listens & reacts (as quietly & discreetly as he's capable) to the bustling crowd of the afternoon. it's not so busy as to give him a headache, but busy enough to keep him entertained as he waits for his teammate/friend. ]

[ stares at him for a while before casting his eyes downward, a very small, pleased look on his face. doesn't say anything as he leads them further onward, gaze still pointedly staring at the ground. ]

[ suddenly feels uncomfortable and stops again; blinks at the large iron gates and a very familiar looking mansion, briefly surprised. feels his good mood drop a bit, trying to not sound disappointed when he speaks. ]

[ shakes his head and turns to fully face caleb, putting a hand on his hip while gesturing with the other. ]

Well, better go report back to Aaron before it gets too late.

[ turns towards the gates and opens them, quietly shutting them when he's through. is almost to the entrance of the mansion before he looks over his shoulder, as if in thought. ]

[ a belated reply, one that is not meant to reach caleb's ears. it is only when he steps inside the mansion that he silently decides that he's looking forward to whatever tomorrow will bring, just as long as caleb is there with him. ]
