[ is currently residing in his room, busily stitching up what seems to be one of robert's torn cloaks. the maids had pleaded earlier to allow them to do it for him, yet he was persistent to do it himself. after all, it was the least he could do for him, considering the events that had come to pass between them as of late.

the thought prompts him to stop and press the material against his lips, a silent symbol of his affection. he doesn't linger, however, quickly going back to work while humming some unknown tune to balance out the silence of the early afternoon. ]

[ slowly comes to a halt from their stroll, eyes shifting to look towards the ground. speakings quietly, but loud enough for alicia to hear. ]

[ stops as well, turning to annabelle with a curious look. ]

Oh? Does he not share his world with you?

[ smiles slightly, though there is a somber undertone to it. ]

Only when it is a matter of great importance, perhaps.

[ and then he turns fully to alicia. ]

Please, do tell me. I am very curious, even if I can clearly see why he would be drawn to you.

[ crosses her arms over her chest, looking amused. ]

Hm. . . if I remember correctly, I believe I may have first charmed him with my, ah, 'skills with the blade'.

[ chuckles lightly at that. ]

I would be delighted to see these famous skills of yours. Perhaps you can spar with him someday while in my company.

Oh, it'd be my pleasure.

After all, it may help me charm the other half of our kingdom's golden twins. I do look forward to completing the set.

[ seems to be confused for a moment there, head tilted to the side and everything. it is only when he realized what she means that he laughs lightly, nervously. ]

[ gives a surprised look, blinking in further confusion. looks away towards the ground, fiddling with his fingers. ]

I... I apologize. I am unused to speaking to new acquaintances outside of my mother and brother's company.

[ tilts his chin up with a finger so that their gazes are aligned again. ]

I wonder why? You are quite the sensation in court gossips.

[ looks surprised, a curious tone in his words. ]

[ chuckles softly. ]

Well, yes... I am unsure what I have done to attract this attention, other than being royalty.

[ finally leans away & places a hand on her hip. ]

[ gives another polite smile before starting their walk again, looking away from alicia briefly so that he could frown in thought. ]

[ convinces himself that now is not the time for that, instead turning his attention on her again. ]

[ trails after obediently, even if she looks a little amused by the rise & fall of annabelle's mood. ]

I do not get much time alone to take on a hobby, I'm afraid. And yourself?
