[ it had been one of those days for alyssa, the ones that rendered her unable to attend classes for more than a few hours-- the ones that had nathan running to her as quickly as possible. thankfully her health and mood seemed to improve throughout the afternoon, giving nathan time to decide whether or not to call albert. when she seemed fine in less time than usual he decided against it, instead suggesting some things for them to do to pass the time. of course, a disney film reigned supreme.

when their movie came to a close nathan turned to look down at alyssa, the girl curled up with her head on his lap, dozing off into what seemed to be a peaceful sleep. he didn't take any time in picking her up gently and moving towards his room, laying her down on top of his bed before grabbing a blanket and putting it over her small body. smiles down at her and brushes a hand against her hair, shutting the door half-way when he makes it back into the living room to start picking up the steadily growing mess that had accumulated throughout the hours of her stay. ]

[ wordlessly pops him again. ]

[ draws back with a feigned look of pain. ]

[ when another thought comes over her she lifts her head slightly, ignoring their previous exchange for another. ]

Oh! Have you seen Tony lately? How is he?

[ glances at the floor briefly in thought. ]

He's alright. Busy.

You should call him! Maybe we could all go out sometime soon!

[ can't help but smile at that, pushing down the confusion in favour of anticipation. ]

. . . 'kay.

But you call him.

Okay!

[ wiggles out from anthony's lap, trotting off to go get her cellphone. comes back quickly to flop on the couch, flip open her cellphone, then go down her contact list to find him. ]

I hope he's not busy... if he is I'm gonna go clobber him!

[ blinks, staring after her when she returns, caught off guard at her immediate compliance. ]

[ then just shrugs, content in simply waiting for the results. ]

I'll be your sidekick.

[ presses 'send' and puts the phone up to her ear. ]

Will you wear a uniform and everything?

As long as it's not spandex.

Aw, but that's no fun~

My limit is Pikachu.

[ waves her hand a bit when she thinks tony is about to pick up... only to get his voicemail instead. gasps. stares at the phone when she pulls it back. puts it to her ear again. ]

TONY YOU BUTTHEAD! I'm trying to be super nice and call you and all I get is your voicemail? For shame! Anthony and I want to play with you! You call me back or else I'll come over there and sock you so hard in the stomach, you won't be able to eat for a week straight.

[ almost shuts her phone, but quickly puts it against her ear once more. ]

'Kay love you bye bye!

[ click. ]

. . . [ golf-claps, looking mildly impressed. ]

That'll convince him for sure.

[ sets the phone down, pouting. ]

It had better! I miss him and his stupid pineapple hair. He never visits me.

For shame. Get him in the gut when you see him.

Oh, I will. I will.

[ strikes a mr. burns pose, bringing his hands together via his fingertips. ]

Excellent.

[ giggles at that and falls back, head resting on anthony's lap again. looks up at him with a wide smile, arms raised while making grabby hands. ]

I love you!

[ jumps a bit at the sudden movement. then shakes his head & holds both her hands with his. ]

Love you too.

[ relaxes fully, bringing one of his hands over to nuzzle it with her cheek. ]
