[ a party at the end of finals was something alyssa had not been entirely interested in, merely shaking her head a little bit shyly when the offer was brought to her attention in class one day. of course, this was before anthony had shrugged and said they should go since the opportunity was there. why not? was what alyssa got out of it, prompting her to quickly agree with some hesitation despite herself. and this was why the girl sat tucked into a corner of one of the couches in the room, tapping the cup in her hands a little for no reason in particular other than giving herself something to do.

with her feet moving back and forth to the music that plays overhead, she sips her (thankfully untouched) punch slowly, eyes glancing around at all the students that are mingling in small groups here and there. a part of her wasn't sure why people were watching her and anthony closely every now and then, as if they knew something that she did not. nonetheless she continues to sit there in silence, glancing down at her phone every now and then to see if she has any texts from nathan-- she was sure he would be doing that throughout the duration of her stay. ]

[ clutches at her rather pathetically, burying his face into her hair as his shoulders shake a little with dry sobs. swallows a little. ]

. . . Missed you. You were right here, but I still missed you.

[ tilts her head a bit when she feels him shaking, her chest tightening with something she's not quite sure of. nonetheless she twists to press a kiss on the edge of his jawline, hugging him a bit tighter. ]

I missed you too, darling.

[ is silent for a moment as he takes the time to calm himself, as well as ride off the rest of the melancholy. then, with some effort, he leans back. yawns a little when the drunken haze resettles into his mind. pumps a fist into the air. ]

I want a party! A even bigger party than this one! YOSHI AND MARIO!

[ lifts her arms up into the air, looking excited. ]

Yoshi and Mario! Party, party~!

[ beams at her. ]

It's a good idea, right?!

[ nods. ]

A very good idea! You can have cake and everything!

GUNDAM! O-Or Pokeball cake. For my Pikachu.

Or both! Both, both!

[ emits a small 'hee'. ]

Both is good.

[ giggles and reaches over to ruffle his hair with both of her hands. ]

That's because I have the best ideas.

[ puffs out his cheeks. ]

D'uh. That's why you're Lyssa.

[ sits back onto the cushions, smoothing down his hair a little (as best as possible). ]

Does that means you'll get me some water if I asked very nicely~?

[ jumps to his feet. ]

Yeah!

[ claps her hands happily. ]

Yay~! Go, Anthony, go!

[ stretches a little, as if he's getting ready to work-out. ]

Watch me go! I'll get you the best water ever.

[ sits up straight again, looking as if she's going to be watching him intently. ]

I will watch and cheer you on!

[ turns around & pumps his fist into the air again. ]

Onward! Neverland, wait for me! [ & starts waddling off toward the refreshment table again, peeking at every water bottle -- even the ones that people are holding -- to check for what he believes is the 'best' water. ]

[ leans forward a little to keep her promise, staring after him as he wanders about. when he's out of sight she lets her shoulders drop a little, leaning back into the couch again to stare up at the ceiling in thought. closes her eyes, feeling a little odd despite knowing that she hasn't been drinking or eating anything funny-- it was a different feeling, one she can't quite describe into words alone. ]

[ opens her eyes when she feels her pocket buzzing, jumping a little in surprise. takes it out and flips it open, reading the message there. lips twitch into a soft smile at the text message, basking in the warm feeling. makes herself comfortable on the couch again before she pulls her legs into her chest, typing up a reply to nathan as she waits for anthony's return. ]

[ takes a while to return, as his face had found the punch bowl during his search for the water. it'd been accident, with him tripping over his feet to stumble right into the refreshment table to dunk his face into the spiked drink. snorts & gulps down a lot more than he intends when he flails for freedom, coming up with a 'PHEW-HA' noise as he coughs, trying to draw in some precious air. ignores the yelps, laughs & a few concerned words, waving them all off as he regains his balance. notes that the world is getting even brighter suddenly, but hangs onto enough of his thoughts & purpose to blearily ask the nearest person for some water.

once armed with the target-object, he gives his helper a great hug & a kiss to the cheek. then waddles off again, swaying a little while hiccuping once in a while. rubs at an eye when the world spins a little, his head tilting back & forth. but he eventually (thankfully), he makes it back to alyssa's couch without causing any more property damage, holding it out to her.

hiccups. ]

HONEY! I'm hooooomee -- rrrr.

[ pockets her cellphone and looks up when she hears anthony's voice, beaming up at him. reaches for her water, about to thank him-- then notices him being less dry than she had seen him a while ago. ]

You're wet! [ fumbles around in her purse, taking out some tissues to stand and pat down his bangs. ] Are you okay? Do I need to beat someone up?

[ leans into her ministrations heavily. ]

Iiiii~ kissed the punch bowl! Like a lovely bunch of coconuuuts.

Oh, dear... [ pats his shirt down as well. ] Should I give daddy a call? He might not be very happy with you, but I'm sure he'd come!

[ hiccups. ]

No Lyssa dads!

'Cause! . . . You know. Your dad. Is REALLY SCARY. Right? Like-- Like the Penguin! O-On Batman!
