[ continues her trek towards one of the less crowded areas of the school, holding two bags full of (homemade) food close to her chest. when she spots her company for the afternoon she shifts the excess weight to free her hands; comes up behind anthony, reaching up to put her palms over his eyes as she happily exclaims: ]

[ shakes her head, though snaps out of it when a thought comes to her. looks at her watch, giving a small frown. ]

Oh, phooey. I have to go soon anyway.

. . . But we haven't watched anything yet.

I know... but I have class.

[ droops. ]

Then after class. . . ?

[ fidgets a bit. ]

Um. Okay. Can I... still stay over at your place, then?

[ blinks. ]

That was the plan.

[ glances up at anne when she comes back with anthony's food and her water, then back down to her lap to murmur a "thank you". turns back to anthony, picking up said water. ]

Should I get someone to drive me to your place?

[ turns his gaze upward at anne to thank her as well, before shrugging in response to alyssa. ]

I can pick you up later.

[ smiles widely at him, giving a small nod before sipping at her water. ]

Okay.

What time does it end again?

Around four. Sometimes we get out later or earlier depending on if we get our work done. [ chews on her straw in thought. ] I might have to take a shower at your place, though... pottery class is getting really messy lately.

Did you bring a change of clothes?

No, but I can bring my PE clothes to sleep in! They're freshly washed and everything.

[ nods. then stops, considering something. ]

I was going to do laundry today. Want me to wash your clothes too?

[ shakes her head. ]

That's alright, I'll wash them later!

C'mon, honey. It's free.

[ reaches over to pat one of his hands. ]

That's very kind of you, darling.

[ catches that into a gentle hold, giving it a small tug. ]

Yes? No?

[ puffs out her chest a little. ]

No way, mister. I'll wash it all by myself!

. . . [ blinks for a moment. ]

But no one washes their laundry by themselves in this century.

Well I will!

Don't deny the washing machine.

I'll do it! Just you wait and see!

It's a sin. A sin as grave as saying no to frying pans.

[ puffs out her cheeks and stands. leans over to grab the bags from off the floor, huffing. ]

I'll show you! [ takes another sip of her water. ] I'll see you later!
