[ having decided that meeting anthony half-way would be best for this particular... conversation, he walks a bit slowly, quite aware that his dorm was closer to the school than his friend-slash-goalie's house. (that and he would probably have to struggle with his mode of transportation for a while.) so instead of the usual ten minutes it takes him to arrive to this particular destination, he gives himself thirty, casually making his way to one of the benches underneath a tree.

takes a seat, pulls out his cellphone, then begins to check his messages as he waits; it would be at least another fifteen minute wait, one he was finally willing to be patient for. after all, he wasn't expecting much, anyway. when it came to feelings, expectations were the worst things to have, or so he had logically deducted throughout his childhood. besides, it wouldn't be the end of the world if anything negative happened. this was anthony, after all, the boy who clucked and bawked louder than he spoke or made any semblance of sense with his words.

... it almost made him second-guess himself. almost.

pockets his phone and tilts his head backwards instead, letting it rest against the top of the bench. just simply stares up into the branches and leaves of the tree, allowing himself to show a rare display of being lost in some non-thoughts for the time being. ]

B-BABY ROBOT?!

Yep! [ wanders off, rummaging around her room. a moment later she's back, flinging herself onto the couch and bumping shoulders with anthony. ] GOT IT!

[ opens to the first page, pointing to a picture of a little blond boy and girl. ]

This is me and your cap-i-tan when we were two! We had lots of play dates.

[ reaches over to poke at the cheeks of the pictures, as if he can pinch at them. ]

Baby robot. . . you used to look so normal. . .

Yeah, but he wasn't normal-normal. He was weird back then, too. [ flips the page, pointing to another picture. ] Here's Anne and Michel, right after she was born. Aren't they cute? He'd always waddle over to her crib to make sure that she was okay.

[ jabs at the picture. ]

Hah! Knew-- knew you cared!

[ nods a few times in agreement, wiggling a bit to grab her beer. sluuurp. finger presses on the next page. ]

And this is uuuus when we were getting ready for our first day of second grade! Look at his stupid little tie! He'd always dress so nice.

He should give that to Pikachu. . . we could adopt him! Give him all the hot water!

Maybe you can adopt him in the future. I mean, he likes you enough to come over here, right?

When I can pay for his sandwiches, I'll ask. . .

[ messes up anthony's hair again, snickering a bit. shows off the rest of the album slowly, letting the other get a good look at ~~the mini robot~~ michael. after they're finished: ]

Hey, I know! You can take any picture you want. [ hands it over. ] You don't have a photo of Michel yet, do you?

[ holds the entire book to his chest. clutches it. ]

I want it all.

No way, mister. I've gotta have lots of blackmail material. You only get one.

[ one of his arms shoots up & starts waving itself around in the air. ]

Teacher, teacher, answer!

[ SIGHS, acting like it's such a hassle to answer, but: ]

Yes, student?

I dunno... what's in it for me?

Too complicated! Rejecting question, cap-i-tan.

[ slowly grins. pats his back a little. ]

Think you've got the wrong person, buddy.

[ blinks at her blearily. then begins to droop. ]

But he was right there. . .

[ uses the hand on his back already to rub it. ]

You'll see him again soon. In the flesh this time!

[ ~~bawks~~ sighs as he relaxes. ]

Really?

Sure you will. Then you can hug him and tell him you'll definitely be his Juliet forever and ever.

Okaaaay. If rooster say so. . .

[ slowly plucks the album from anthony's arms, setting it aside when she notices that he looks ~~ready to puff, wooo~~ sleepy. ]

The rooster knows all and sees all. [ pats the cushions a little, slipping off of the couch. ] C'mon, you can crash here for the night.
