Once upon a time there was this boy. Instead of being a hero, he was selfish and was sure he was the best at everything. Being strong and tall got the better of him, so he thought he was superior than everyone else.
But he had another giant flaw, you see. He wanted to see different worlds and not stay on the island that he had grown up in, since he couldn't appreciate what he had around him at the time.
On the night of taking off on an adventure with his two friends, something happened. Due to being selfish and arrogant, the boy succumbed to darkness. His best friend, however, decided that he would turn to the light and go on an adventure that only happened in fairytales and stuff on TV.
But something else happened that would make the boy of light fight on. Their other friend, who was a princess, might I add, had her heart stolen. The boy of light swore to bring the princess' heart back and help the boy of darkness see the error in his ways.
It was a long, hard journey for the brave boy of light. He fought off evil with the weight of the world on his shoulders, only to have to go through even more hardship when he got the princess' heart back and saved the boy of darkness from doing anything else that was stupid.
Unfortunately, the boy of darkness shut himself back inside the darkness, because he didn't think he was worthy of the boy of light's friendship. He decided to instead help him from the shadows, since he wasn't brave enough to show his face any longer.
Yet again the boy of light fought as hard as he could. And you know what happened? He did it. He saved the world numerous times and saved his friends, along with a little help on the way.
The boy of darkness, however, wanted to stay in the darkness, where he thought he belonged. And really, it was the best place for him, seeing as how he still doesn't think that he deserves such kindness from somebody he hurt so much.
But the boy of light and his friends told the boy of darkness that he was forgiven. The boy of darkness really couldn't believe it, but they were sincere in their words. So they fought against the last thing standing in their way before they went back home, to the islands where they grew up in.
The three friends then lives happily ever after. The end.
[ doesn't think this is entirely a fun & games type of story, so. gonna struggle past the kneejerk response to a silly-sounding story to ask something he thinks is important. ]

[ sounds highly amused. ... is making fun of himself, clearly. ]

Me?

... you know, I don't really do anything. Maybe catch up with my friends. Eat. Sleep. You know, normal stuff.
no subject
I see.

I used to do a lot of other things, you know.

And the happily ever after lasted?
no subject
Maybe. The story is still on-going, so I can't tell for sure.
no subject
I don't see why it wouldn't.
no subject
Oh? And why's that.
no subject
I doubt he'd do anything that might make him lose the other boy and the girl again.
