[ since it's such a nice day anna is currently residing next to a window, looking at everything down below. seems like he does this a lot, which is why he's in a daze, not really thinking about anything in general.

still, half of him wished he could go out into the rest of the kingdom. he stays put, though, just like his mother commanded him to requested. ]

[ knocks on the door twice before opening it, standing in the doorway. ]

This again, Anna?

[ turns around at the sound of his voice, a surprised look on his face. it soon softens, though, getting up from his chair soon after to slowly walk on over despite his excitement. ]

Robert. [ reaches for his hands. ] You've returned.

[ takes one of anna's hands & lifts it to brush his lips against the knuckles briefly, lightly. ]

[ since no one else is around, he can't help himself when he throws his arms around rob's neck, holding onto him firmly. smiles widely despite himself, thinking that this a 'proper' reply. ]

[ enjoys the moment, not yet noticing said bruising. ]

I was out in the gardens this morning. I suppose for a little too long, hm?

[ which is his cue to gently let go, walking on over towards his nightstand. picks up the lilies laying there, returning to his previous spot. holds them out to the other to take, finally able to say: ]

[ watches him briefly, then notices the little scrapes and bruises here and there. lifts a hand, though only lets it hover. ]

[ hesitates, then takes one of his hands. leads him on over to the chair he was sitting in before, gently pushing him down to sit. wanders towards the washroom afterward.

comes back without a word, a washcloth in hand. shifts the layers of cloth that drape around his ankles, bending to rest on his knees. lifts the washcloth and begins cleaning, careful with the salve that's on it.

doesn't want to ask what's on his mind, but feels compelled to. ]

... did you say hello to mother before you came to see me?

[ would complain, if it didn't feel so nice. so just sighs & lets himself be pampered. ]

No. I don't plan on it, unless I happen to run into her.

[ pauses briefly, then nods and continues without another word. ]

[ turns his gaze to the window briefly before looking back at anna. ]

[ stops in his movements, placing his hands down on his own lap. stays quiet, silently observing rob. ]

So you will come with me willingly? Or is kidnapping necessary?

[ can't help but let his lip twitch in amusement, subduing it as he puts his hand gently into rob's opened palm. ]

I do not think kidnapping would be wise, dear brother of mine. You never know who you are up against.
