[ here comes brianna just wandering into the library/study, half-naked as usual, though she has her heels on at the moment. doesn't look very ready, but that's because she's been attempting to find her MIA brother. ]

[ ping! spots said brother and saunters on over to him and stands there, hands on her hips, though she looks amused instead of irritated. ]

[ lets his knuckles rest on the door while he looks thoughtful. he then shrugs & takes a detour into the kitchen to get the spare key.

soon enough: click goes the door. enter big brother. ]

[ finally makes a move to blindly grab a pillow that's thrown somewhere on the bed behind him, though it's obvious that it's something important/entertaining that he's doing or else he would've a) noticed albert by now and/or b) got up to get the pillow himself. ]

[ lets the door close behind him softly while watching the movements with an amused expression. doesn't seem to be in any hurry to break his silence just yet.

in the end, he takes pity & carefully maneuvers through the room as not to disturb anything before finally coming within arm's reach of the pillow. grabs it & hands it over. ]

[ when he feels the pillow he slowly takes it, though his eyes haven't left the screen yet. adjusts it behind him and gives a content look, not questioning on why a pillow just happened to land in his hand. ]

[ is there room next to him? whether there is or not, he's going to take a seat on the bed, right next to nathan, chin braced against his palm a la icon. closes his eyes momentarily, looking rather content as he listens to the faint rhythm emitted from the headphones that he can just barely hear. ]

[ picks up a cracker at his side, chewing on it while typing rapidly with his free hand. shoves the rest of it in his mouth, reaching over to grab his water bottle, only for it to land on albert's leg. ]

[ tumbles over and crashes into a pile of CDs, thankful that his hand is possibly literally attached to his laptop. ]

[ though his eyes had snapped open when the water bottle had hit his leg, he's still in a bit of a daze. so it's on automatic when his hands dart out to grab at nathan's upper arms, steadying him from crashing into any possibly dangerous objects. ]

[ & then he blinks; once. twice. leans his face in close, all smiles. ]

veers his head away slightly, though looks at albert from the corner of his eye. ]

[ is silent in response, tilting his head a tad before carefully letting go & leaning away. brushes aside the crumbs from nathan's hair instead, fingers gentle. ]

[ allows it momentarily, jerking his head away when he feels uncomfortable. rips off his headphones and lets them rest on his neck, not bothering to turn off the music just yet. doesn't want this to take long, after all. ]

[ satisfied, lets his hand drop without complaint. raises an eyebrow at the (semi) familiar tune. cue amusement, but no comments just yet. ]

[ cringes slightly at this, simply turning back to his laptop after situating himself back into his spot, careful to scoot further away from albert in the process. ]

[ dutifully mirroring the retreating motion so that no distance is created between them. ends with him lowering himself onto the ground as well, sitting next to nathan, looking rather docile. ]

[ just gives him this look. grabs the forgotten pillow and puts it between them, making it into a makeshift barrier of sorts. ]

[ raises an eyebrow at the challenge. makes one smooth arc of motion where it ends with the pillow pushed onto nathan's leg & albert's head following soon after. peers up. ]

[ the change is sudden. it adds to the speed of his movements as he unlocks his arms from around nathan, sits up & bodily faces him. a hand juts out, planting itself pointedly on the mattress behind nathan's head.

goes still. ]

[ looks surprised for a second there, staring at him a bit owlishly. ]

[ switches back to his normal annoyed look soon after, though there's something unknown in his eyes even if his expression softens. ]
