[ looks like you're having a delicious-looking fried rice, damon. just slides the meal onto the two plates, handing one to damon after she's finished. there's a lot on there... a lot. ]

[ stares at it for a moment, looking immensely pleased. ]

Looks so good. [ says this while grabbing a spoon, digging into it while standing as soon as he's finished speaking. ]

[ is pleased as well, nudging him gently with an elbow to lead them somewhere to sit down after nabbing a spoon as well. after a moment or two: ]

Is it good?

[ is obediently led into sitting, only pausing in his speed-eating to give her a look -- isn't that obvious? -- before continuing in his eating. ]

[ sticks nose in the air in a snobby way. turns to her own food and starts chowing down as well, a little more gracefully than he is. ]

[ soon finishes his food. straightens his back in a no-movement stretch, then leans back into his chair, looking stuffed & content. ]

Think that's the best and biggest meal I had in days. I should have you feed me more often, sis.

Well, you will be home all summer, won't you? [ leans back as well in her own chair, fiddling a little bit with her hair. ] I'll fix you something every night. Make me a list, okay~?

[ the grin spreads slowly but surely across his face. ]

Better not regret saying that.

Just as long as you realize that I'll be eating half of it.

... then make portions for three.

How about four. [ pauses, rolling her eyes upward in brief thought. ] Six if your brother and Nathan decide to join us.

Just stick to four, sis. Unless otherwise told.

[ gives him a sideways glance, not saying much more to that. continues eating the small portion she has left. time to switch topics. ]

Have any other plans for the summer?

[ leans back even further on his chair, draping his arms backwards & craning his head up towards the ceiling. considering noise. ]

Dunno yet. Probably gonna call up some guys, see what they wanna do.

Don't party too hard, or else I really will have to play the big sister card.

[ says it halfheartedly, reaching over to brush his bangs away from his face. ]

[ tilts his head in the direction of her hands, just barely leaning into it. ]

Yeah, yeah. I'll be good.

[ continues the stroking for a while longer, pulling back finally to take their plates. ]

Are you full? I could make something else if not.

Nah, pretty stuffed right now. Eat any more and it'll go straight into my fat reserves.

[ nods in reply, humming when she gets over to the sink to wash the plates. nevermind that someone else could do this for her. ]

Any requests for breakfast?

[ no hesitation; an immediate response: ]

Omelet. A big one.

[ chuckles lightly to herself, wiping off her hands with a dishtowel. places it elsewhere, walking back to plant herself down... on damon's lap. ]

[ might be flailing a little & any more force will knock the chair over backwards. danger, danger. ]

[ she's been rocked harder, if you know what i mean. sort of just. pushes her hands down on his shoulders to steady him and slip off his lap without either of them getting injured. ]

[ looks instantly & immensely relieved when she's off of him, looking exhausted for a moment before he scrambles onto his feet as well while fixing her a glare. ]
