[ circles around to face her boys when they get inside of the park, taking out her handy dandy map to look over it. doesn't take too long in deciding what to do first; hands go on her hips, giving them a look as if she's leading an army going to war, though the smile on her face adds something more pleasant onto the double-meaning. ]

So I was thinking that we should split up first and meet up for lunch later. It's pretty crowded today. Going in twos is the best option, since we don't want to lose any short people.

[ lets go of her hand just as gently & slowly as he pulls his hands away from the stallion so that she is the only one touching it, stepping one step away to the side. gives the children around him a thankful grin when they part for him.

turns his head when a whinny fills his ears from his blind side -- another horse, drawn by its curiosity. gives its muzzle a firmer pat than he did the stallion, watching brianna for a moment before turning his attention to the newcomer mare. ]

[ continues to pet the animal and gives a sort of innocent smile, almost a little hesitant but nobody was looking so she gives into the feeling for now.

quietly removes herself from the horse after a moment, nearly startled at almost running into the children that gathered around the two of them. blinks curiously but turns her attention on damon instead, watching him carefully as she thinks about several things all at the same time. ]

[ has noticed her departure from the stallion by sight but by sound -- a combination of the children & the sound of horse trotting away. keeps himself attached to the mare for a little while longer, however, one hand sliding onto its cheek. it trots a step closer when he leans forward, placing his forehead against it, feeling its soft breathing.

breathes out himself, all muscles of his body relaxing, wishing the place was more private. but it isn't, so he leans back instead after a few more seconds, stifling a cough into his shoulder & pulling away from the mare despite its huffs. ]

[ when he looks at brianna, he's just smiling, already setting aside & momentarily ignoring what had just happened in his mind. ]

Ducks or rabbits next?

[ blinks up at him, giving him one of her smiles as well. hooks the strap of the camera around one of her wrists, wanting to remind herself to take photos. ]

Rabbits~!

'kay. Right this way.

[ & off he walks to a different fence altogether, already straining his neck to see the animals over the crowd surrounding the pen. ]

[ wanders on over as well, not hesitating in moving in a bit closer to rest her knees on the ground in front of the pen. reaches out a hand and wiggles a few fingers, pleased when one of the baby bunnies hop on over. toys with its tiny ears idly, lifting her free hand to hide the excited smile on her face.

tilts her head when one of the children stands close by and stares down at her. smile turns softer, taking the kid's hand to gently and slowly guide him down to the bunny. stays like the for a while, brightening when he giggles and continues to pet it, looking as if she's taking more pleasure out of that than the animal in front of her. ]

[ is on the other side of the pen, also bent down to extend his hand forward, letting the bunnies sniff at him. knows not to expect much active acknowledgment as the horses had given him & therefore feels rather accomplished with the nonchalant ways they go about their ways even as he moves his hand about, giving light pets to one here & there.

looks up to see what brianna is doing, raising an eyebrow at the scene but no less pleased. ]

[ & it seems as if she's chatting with the kid, giving him looks that seem familiar yet are so far away in her memory. is too lost in the moment to even bother caring, though she pulls herself away soon enough to look up at the child's mother and match her smile with her own.

waves to them as they leave, standing & brushing her jeans off. flips the camera into her hands to begin her photo taking, shifting it over to damon as she grins and takes yet another snapshot of him. ]

Oi, careful. Take pics only from my good side. And these guys. [ makes hand motions at the bunnies. ]

[ rolls her eyes within a smaller smile, sliding the camera back on her wrist again. ]

Yes, sir.

Actually, gimme that. [ gets to his feet, walking around the pen with his hand out. ]

Ain't fair if you keep taking pics only of me.

[ raises an eyebrow, shifting the camera further away from him. ]

I get my photo taken quite often already, sweetheart.

[ deadpan look. ]

At Disney? Don't think so. Hand it over.

[ doesn't budge. ]

I'd rather have photos of you.

[ a hand goes to his hip, also not budging. ]

This a family trip or not?

Yes, but that doesn't mean that we'll have photos of everyone.

Only if you try to do that.

[ looks at him for a long moment. holds out the camera for him to take, though doesn't say anything in reply. ]

[ looks a bit surprised & cautiously reaches over to take it, keeping his eye on her expression. ]

[ drops it into his hand. adjusting her purse on her shoulder, looking over at the other animals. slips into another topic easily; ]

I wouldn't be surprised if you could talk to them, Doctor Dolittle.

[ grin breaks out when the camera is in his possession without any incident. takes a photo right away to make his point with bunnies & children in the backdrop. ]

Yeah, well. I'm working on it.

[ tilts her head to the side, not fazed at his actions. ]

I'm sure you'll have it down in no time.

[ shrugs & turns to the animals to take a picture of them, the flash off. ]

You think?

Mhmm.

[ walks to stand closer to him, leaning her head against his shoulder lightly, just watching. ]
