[ the week had dragged on longer than it should have for brianna, the constant pouring of rain making her more sleepy and tired than usual. most of the hours at home were spent curling up in some unknown part of the mansion to take a long nap, though at the moment she had others plans:

she is currently sitting next to a window with her arms wrapped around her legs, dazing while watching the rain. is not thinking about anything in particular, just simply observing the drops as they stick to the glass, almost as if she's entranced by the motion. does not move, does not speak; it's as if she's a statue. ]

[ stares down at the drawing for a while, blinking back her surprise. feels her cheeks get a bit warm, unsure as to why, but she also grabs a handful of crayons & begins to draw. the doodle is next to albert's, their hands touching. speaks gently, almost a little unsure of herself: ]

[ tilts his head & smiles down at the paper, pleased. taps the crayon against his chin before he simply makes an sideways 8 above their heads. ]

[ almost seems a bit excited, or at least her version of a pleased expression. takes a red crayon, drawing a heart around the infinity symbol slowly, carefully. ]

[ reaches over to touch the pinky he used before, brushing against it as she seems lost in thought. belatedly nods as well. ]

[ smiles, content. repeats her words to make it feel final for him, simply closing his eyes as he speaks. ]

[ closes her own eyes, leaning her head over to rest on his shoulder, feeling comforted in both his warmth and the warmth spreading inside her chest. ]

[ leans his head on hers, drawing up his knees to his chest as he watches the fire burn; does not daze off, but relaxes regardless, feeling content himself despite not doing anything -- does not even pick up the book, simply sitting with her. ]
