[ zooming across the hallways and poking his head inside almost every classroom's door, tony adamantly searches for a certain fair-haired boy. nobody around him questions this quest, already knowing that said person he's looking for could only be one out of three: anthony, an unfortunate victim due to (half-)sharing the same name as tony, alyssa, a girl who everyone and their mom seemed to like (specifically all the boys who persistently tried to get her to date them), and riku, the unlucky son of a bitch who seemed to have the worst luck in the world, but was still the hottest teacher in the entire school.

who would it be this time?

it's not until he turns a corner into the sophomore hallway that he spots his target finally. stopping in the middle of the hallway while throwing his hands up in the air, he shouts: ]

CHOCOBOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!

[ takes a sip of the juice that he realizes that he still has, pauses in mid-swallow when a thought strikes him. ]

Tony, want some?

[ rummages through one of the large metal baskets that holds most of the gym's basket, soccer, and volleyballs. nabs one of each, teetering out of the room and back towards the center of the gym. ]

Wuzzat?

Orange juice. [ offers the juice while eying the soccer ball. ]

[ drops all of the balls unceremoniously, letting out a pleased "eeee"ing sound. ]

ORANGE JUICE! [ nabs it, drinking it happily. ]

[ considers the orange juice as forever lost to him, turning his attention to the soccer ball instead. kicks at it lightly for a sec & then kicks it toward tony, his intention clear. ]

[ gulp gulp gulp-- okay he's done. looks down at the soccer ball that bounces a little bit off of his feet, then up at tony. ]

YEAH!

[ nods, smiling a bit. motions tony to kick the ball back while he backpedals a few steps to set up a suitable distance between them. ]

[ throws his leg back dramatically to kick it, but then stops abruptly. ]

Oh wait!

[ scurries off towards the trashcan near the entrance of the gym, tossing the empty bottle of orange juice in there. turns to run back again. ]

OKAY I'M READY!

[ doesn't stop running, however; just zooms at top-speed and kicks the ball in a random direction. ]

[ makes a split second decision that he did not want to get hit by the ball at this velocity & takes a step to the right just in time for it to whiz past. ]

Whoo. Home run. [ says this dryly before he jogs toward the ball a good few metres away & kicks it toward tony with less force. ]

[ puffs out his chest and kicks the ball hard again, but not nearly as hard as before, thankfully. ]

[ intercepts that well enough & kicks it back. ]

We still haven't found Alyssa.

[ kicks the ball up and tries to juggle it with his feet, giving up after he drops it on the second try. just kicks it back. ]

You think she wants to play too?

[ watches, wearing another half-smile & just kicks it right back to tony without extra tricks when he receives it. ]

I bet she'd kick both our butts!

[ laughs at this for some unknown reason, nudging the ball around in circles as he follows it, forgetting momentarily that he needs to pass it. ]

[ relaxes a little when he realizes the ball's not coming back to him, a hand resting on his hip. nods after a moment's consideration of tony's words. ]

She always does.

[ finally kicks it back to him with the side of his foot, swinging his hands behind his head to cradle it. perks up when he remembers something, even if it's relatively off-topic. ]
