[ zooming across the hallways and poking his head inside almost every classroom's door, tony adamantly searches for a certain fair-haired boy. nobody around him questions this quest, already knowing that said person he's looking for could only be one out of three: anthony, an unfortunate victim due to (half-)sharing the same name as tony, alyssa, a girl who everyone and their mom seemed to like (specifically all the boys who persistently tried to get her to date them), and riku, the unlucky son of a bitch who seemed to have the worst luck in the world, but was still the hottest teacher in the entire school.

who would it be this time?

it's not until he turns a corner into the sophomore hallway that he spots his target finally. stopping in the middle of the hallway while throwing his hands up in the air, he shouts: ]

There's this cute boy in my math class that sits in front of me. But I wouldn't date him.

[ makes an agreeing sound, knowing the type. takes a moment to remember her class arrangement. ]

Travis?

Yes, that's him! He asked me to the dance, actually!

... but you told me last week that he had a girlfriend.

He broke up with her yesterday.

Oh. [ thinks, trying to remember the exact details -- ] She was with Dave today.

[ gasps, peeking out the dressing room. ]

I forget her name.

Jessie! She's my friend! [ goes back into the dressing room, looking pleased as she pulls on another dress. ] Oh, good for her. Dave is a nice boy. I went out with him once.

[ agrees quietly when he realizes that he has no memory of punching dave. leans back & steers the conversation back on topic. ]

And Travis?

[ speaks in a distracted manner, too busy trying to decide if the shade of pink is right for her. ]

Hm? What about Travis?

You said no. So his date?

Ahhhh~ I dunno! I've been too busy thinking about what we're going to wear.

[ nods again. ]

Made your choice, yet?

Yes! [ opens the door, holding up the dress (http://i48.tinypic.com/347gn6t.jpg) she's chosen. ] What do you think?

[ observes for a while & then nods in approval. ]

Better that than the other one.

Good~! Let's go pay for it.

[ tugs on his arm a little bit, briefly thanking the sale assistant hovering nearby. ]

[ follows out to the cashier, standing to the side while staring blearily at the accessories. ]

[ buys it and pays, giving them her name so her driver can pick it up later. turns back to tony and holds her hand out. ]

Okay dokey. Let's go find accessories and get you your tie~

[ holds out his own hand automatically, taking hers. only makes a face afterward. ]

My dad has enough ties.

We can get something matching. Let's pick something out for Tony, too~!

[ umpteenth sigh of the day, but follows along like always. ]

He said hot pink.

Really? Oh, good! We can get you something in a lighter pink, then.

My dad can't wear light pink to work.

That's okay, it'll be a Christmas present~
