[ is currently residing in his room, busily stitching up what seems to be one of robert's torn cloaks. the maids had pleaded earlier to allow them to do it for him, yet he was persistent to do it himself. after all, it was the least he could do for him, considering the events that had come to pass between them as of late.

the thought prompts him to stop and press the material against his lips, a silent symbol of his affection. he doesn't linger, however, quickly going back to work while humming some unknown tune to balance out the silence of the early afternoon. ]

looks back at annabelle at this point, gently putting a hand on annabelle's elbow while guiding them both to the stranger-but-not. ]

[ had been too busy looking at them back and forth in silence, thus when she speaks he's taken back momentarily. takes a moment to catch up, feeling himself stand up a bit straighter as a smile crosses his lips. ]

He is quite a handful, is he not.

[ steps back a pace, lifting his gown slightly so that he could properly incline his head in a formal greeting. ]

I am very pleased to meet you, lady Alicia. Robert has spoken very highly of you.

He could deny it if he so chooses. [ glances at robert in the corner of his eyes. ] Though I doubt he wishes to have his sibling pronounced a liar.

[ watches him for a brief moment in silence. fidgets slightly with the material of his gown, but speaks with a steady voice. ]

Very well. Then if you'll excuse us.

[ smiles at alicia before turning once more to begin their walk. ]

walks a little bit closer than usual manners would allow, but otherwise doesn't break the silence, waiting & watching for annabelle's reaction. ]

[ strolls at his usual pace, seemingly content with that and nothing more, though his eyes are trained straight ahead. can only think about how robert is usually here with him at these times, thus leaving him feeling more uneasy than usual, specifically in this particular situation.
