[ tucked against the corner of the couch, head lolling a bit as he dazes, an arm loosely wrapped around nathan's waist. the touch is as unintrusive as it gets -- relaxed and open so that nathan can get away anytime he wishes. twitches once in a while in his daze, however, still relatively aware as people appears & disappears in the map in his head. ]

[ then looks up when they arrive at the store, face brightening. ]

[ turns fully towards caleb, taking both of his hands into hers to tug at him lightly. ]

Let us get what we need! I will also make us something good to eat for dinner tonight, ja?

[ also returns the tugging so that finally enter the grocery store, though he does not stop talking. ]

Ja! Eat together! Like at home, I help Hilda.

And a big help you are!

[ then peers around, a finger to her lips. ]

Hmm~ What do you feel like eating tonight, Caleb?

Bratwurst and Kraut!

That's it? Hmm... okay!

[ steps forward to take the lead, only to pause after a few feet to look around. ]

[ turns back towards caleb, pointing at him. ]

Alright, for your FIRST STAR, you must guide me around the store! While explaining everything in English!

[ only takes the first few seconds to look a little distressed at the task but quickly recovers with the promise of that gold star. ]

I- I try! What Hilda need first?

[ lifts a hand to stroke her chin. ]

Well... let's see if they have sauerkraut already made, because I'd have to ferment it for weeks if not. A place like this should have bratwursts...

[ looks back at caleb after her eyes wander about in thought for a moment. ]

Other than that, we should get some brown sugar, onions, potatoes, and an apple. You have enough beer at home already, ja?

[ eyes might go cross-eyed, trying to remember the list. ]

Sauerkraut is. . . with meat! Erm. Bratwursts is with meat too!

Brown sugar. . . erm. I will ask. Other food is with vegetable!

[ leans forward to ruffle his hair fondly. ]

Good, good! Now all you have to do is lead the way for that golden star!

Ja! Erm. . . Yes! [ grabs her hand & gives a soft tug. ]

Hilda! This way!

[ chuckles and goes along willingly, gaze softening a bit as she allows caleb to lead. ]

[ too busy looking around for the proper signs in his map-sight to really pay attention, though he tilts his head unconsciously when he hears her heartbeat & breathing relaxing some more.

tugs her along a little into the 'meat' area & stops in front of the selection. ]

This is meat place!

[ allows herself to do some 'ooo' and 'ahhh'-ing. steps forward to peer at the selection, taking her time to find exactly what they need.

lifts it up in the air when she spots it, as if it's an amazing find. ]

Got it! You're a third away from that star, Caleb!

Okay! I do good second and third too!

[ makes a motion to accept the food to hold it in her stead while tugging at her at the same time. ]

Vegetable place this way!

[ looks pleased/surprised at the gesture, but doesn't do much more except nod until she thinks of something at random: ]
