[ ignores the strange looks from the passing drivers as he travels leisurely on his scooter. the sound of the characteristic putt putt putt noise of his transportation fills the driveway when he arrives in front of the mansion. it takes him another minute (or two) to properly park & put the machine to rest.

straightens & leans back in the seat a little as he takes out his phone to quickly type a text message: let me be your guest, mademoiselle & looks up toward a window to wait. ]

[ stops in front of him, leaning forward to stare at his face. tilts her head to the side briefly, then goes back to center. ]

If you were crying you'd have puffy eyes. You don't have puffy eyes, boyfriend.

The art of anti-puffing crying eyes has been passed on through my family for many generations.

So if we had babies then it would be passed down to them too, right.

[ brings up a fist for less-than-energetic dramatics. ]

. . . This forbidden art will end with me.

[ pouts, shuffling her feet a bit. ]

Aw phooey.

[ reaches over to pat her shoulder. ]

I'll give you two bites. Don't despair too much.

[ dramatically lets her head fall on his shoulder, simply releasing one long whine in reply. ]

[ gives her a nudge. ]

Three bites?

[ peeks up at him. ]

... okay.

[ peers back. ]

It's a generous, one-time offer.

[ can't help but smile at that, nuzzling the side of his face with her own. ]

[ returns the nuzzling. ]

Spoiling is fun sometimes.

[ when they approach the ice cream shop her expression lights up again, pleased that it seems to be open. tugs at anthony's hand a bit. ]

Lookie, lookie! It's open! Let's go~!

[ looks a tad disappointed that they wouldn't have to resort to option b. follows her inside & places his order for two within a few seconds of waiting, the store sparsely populated at this hour. hands her the sundae. ]

One strawberry sundae with sprinkles.

[ takes it happily and lifts up to give him a quick kiss on the cheek. ]

Thank you, darling.

[ & then proceeds to dig in. ]

[ turns away when he receives a teasing smile from the cashier. immediately starts munching on his while he uses his other hand to touch her elbow to lead them back outside. ]

[ completely misses the look as she continues to eat her ice cream, looking thoroughly pleased. hooks her arm around anthony's free one as they go along while her face blossoms warmly in happiness. ]

[ noms on his ice cream in silence until they get back to his scooter. gently pulls from her grip to sit down first before offering his cone up towards her. ]

Bites?

[ nods excitedly but does not take a bite just yet, too busy (carefully) seating herself on the edge of one of anthony's thighs. leans a little to finally take a small bite of his ice cream. ]

[ looks down at her in surprise, but responds by loosely putting his arm around her to brace her. gives the ice cream another nudge. ]

Two more left.

[ leans back on him lightly, pausing in eating her ice cream to peer at his. ]

I'm gonna get fat.

[ --but takes another small bite anyway. ]

[ nudges for the last bite. ]

Just like how I'm 200 pounds.

You're not, but Tony probably is.

[ then proceeds to nom. ]

[ corner of his lips might be twitching a bit. or a lot. ]

If we're talking about Tony, then 300 pounds.

Maybe we should put him on a diet.
