[ packs the essential water bottles & sandwiches in his backpack before he's off, putt putt putting to the fair's designated parking spot. doesn't immediately head for the meeting spot, however, strolling on over the bathroom first to do his business. before he leaves, he takes a moment to poke at some of the misbehaving strands on his head in a slightly disgruntled manner. attempts smoothing the strands down twice, then shakes his head, accepting the catastrophe that had been yesterday's sudden rain shower.

making his way back into the outside world, he ignores the trail of waddling seagulls behind him & begins to lazily walk toward the ticket booth to wait for alyssa & tony. ]

[ both gets up at the same time, scurrying around the table to each latch onto one of anthony's hands. ]

We need to go too, so we'll show you the way!

[ looks up from his food and blinks. makes a face at anthony, almost as if he's worried... then suddenly remembers him dodging the twins for his own safety, thus he raises a hand and says, a little pointedly (a little too happily): ]

Okay, my darlings~! Have lots of fun!

[ pauses in opening one of the bags that contains an anthony-made sandwich so that she can call out, mostly to the twins: ]

Be safe! Don't get lost! Call me if you need me! We'll be right here waiting for you! I love you!

[ when they're out of sight he turns back to alyssa, giving her a look. ]

Think they'll be fine. They're with Anthony, after all.

[ watches them a while longer before slowly seating herself again, having gotten up a few inches from her chair. fidgets a bit. ]

Yes, I know... but I worry anyway.

[ hums a little underneath his breath, taking another bite of his hamburger. side-glances alyssa when silence overcomes them, almost a little shyly--

stops. shakes his head, rolls his eyes at himself and mentally berates his behavior as he chugs down the rest of his water, placing the empty bottle on their newly designated spot for trash. it takes a few minutes for his eyes to wander back to alyssa's distracted form and watch her again as she happily munches on a sandwich, his lips slowly twitching up into a soft smile. doesn't say anything as he steals this moment to himself, completely and utterly forgetting everything that was troubling him just a few moments ago. ]
