[ packs the essential water bottles & sandwiches in his backpack before he's off, putt putt putting to the fair's designated parking spot. doesn't immediately head for the meeting spot, however, strolling on over the bathroom first to do his business. before he leaves, he takes a moment to poke at some of the misbehaving strands on his head in a slightly disgruntled manner. attempts smoothing the strands down twice, then shakes his head, accepting the catastrophe that had been yesterday's sudden rain shower.

making his way back into the outside world, he ignores the trail of waddling seagulls behind him & begins to lazily walk toward the ticket booth to wait for alyssa & tony. ]

Aw, that's not true. [ gently bumps eileen's head with his own. ] Sure, he's kinda got an unhealthy relationship with his ponies, but he definitely loves you guys more than those old things.

Well, he's really touchy about his ponies... [ pauses. then grins. ] You know, when your uncle was younger he'd call horses "ponies" all the time. It got your dad so mad.

And, and? Did he punish you?

[ shrugs but looks down at elias with a smile. ]

Most of the time he'd just yell at me. Other times he'd put me in a headlock and wouldn't let go until my hair stood on end.

Oh yeah, lots of fun. I used to be really short too, so he'd call me "midget" and make all sorts of jabs. [ pauses. ] He hasn't changed much, now that I think about it. Still acts like he's seventeen.
