[ he's not sure how, but he's absolutely certain that it's one of those mornings where waking up would be a Bad Idea. even when he's only half-awake, he can feel the dull throb in his head, signaling the presence of a progressively worsening migraine. presses a hand to his forehead gingerly as he peeks open one eye. shuts it immediately when the light amplifies the headache even further. somehow manages to roll over onto his side with a soft groan, expression twisting into one of pain as he patterns out his breathing.

several minutes later, reattempts at opening his eyes. is successful this time, leaving him to blink owlishly at the blurry image of the (foreign-but-not) room laid out before him. jerks bodily when he realizes that this is not his room, but tony's. doesn't quite get to the point of throwing himself off the bed, however, hindered quite successfully by the pounding headache. feels slightly better upon realizing that tony's strangely absent, filling him with a sense of hope that he can get away unscathed. as such, he stubbornly pushes down the memories as he wraps his arms around his head, concentrating on breathing & recovering so that he can escape as soon as possible. ]

[ pushes back. ] Germany drinks nine-tenth of it.

Plug your nose, it helps if you do not like the taste!

[ grimaces, but settles himself back down to sit on the bed as he takes another sip. stares down at the concoction miserably. ]

Alien potion, you are not good to me. . .

German potion! It is good for you. [ reaches over to the nightstand again, grabbing the tray with the soup on it so that she can settle it onto anthony's lap. ] Eat this, too!

[ puts down the glass to pick up the spoon, gladly trading the drink for the soup. ]

I can do soup. Soup can't go wrong.

[ pats his head a little with a hand. ]

That's alright, you can drink it later.

[ looks up at her. ]

Much later.

[ doesn't seem to get his point, only nodding some more as she continues to pat him. ]

[ blinks a little, but doesn't move away. ]

. . . You don't have to stay. I'm okay?

Tony asked me to. [ presses her hand firmly against his head, stroking his hair a little more softly. ] I'll stay.

[ slurps down a few more bites of his soup. ]

[ stands up, reaching over to pick up the shunned glass of liquid. ]

Only for today. [ walks a few steps away towards the door, peering over her shoulder at him. ] You'll be better enough to go home by tomorrow, ja?
