[ shivers a little underneath the covers when a chill disturbs his slumber, tucking himself a bit closer to caleb to leech off of his warmth. after a moment or two he cracks an eye open, shifting his gaze on over to the window when he feels like something is amiss. blinks once, twice, then slowly sits up in the bed as he gets a closer look at the outside world.

when he sees the snow that had piled up over the night and continued to litter the ground he can't help but get on his knees, smooshing his face and hands up against the glass as if he were an overexcited child. pries himself away after the tiniest of bounces on the bed to instead direct his attention to his sleeping companion. places a hand on his shoulder and lightly shakes. ]

Caleb. Caleb!

[ makes a sounds of agreement at his words, turning to go back into the living room. walks to aaron first to hand him one of the plates, taking a seat next to him quietly. ]

[ & he's after her in a second, carrying his plate & nathan's. he hands nathan's over first, then settles himself next to the boy, already taking a bite into the cake. freezes, then looks up. ]

[ looks up with a surprised expression to thank caleb, giving a polite little bow with her head. smiles to herself for the rest of the hour, content even when aaron and nathan start arguing again. can't help but look up at the wishes on the tree with a curious (and somewhat concerned) gaze, almost as if she knows that aaron's and her own are the only two without any hidden meaning behind it. shakes the worrying off when a question is directed her way, thinking everything will be just fine as long as they're all together. ]
