[ double-checks that everything in the house is straightened and in its proper place, despite having cleaned everything earlier that morning. a few peeks up the stairs towards her brother's room is the only other movement she makes besides nudging things here and there, taking a seat on the edge of a chair when she realizes that it probably won't be very long now. is quite aware (was made aware) that her brother had tricked anthony into thinking they were going to meet at twelve instead of twelve-thirty, but still can't help but glance outside the front window every few minutes to make sure that she would be there when he arrived. ]

But I'm still working through my last therapy session.

If it is the last therapy session you are on, then you have done poorly in your attempts to clear yourself of your burdens.

[ gives the tiniest of shrugs, taking another drink. ]

We're talking about you anyway. How come you don't know 'knock knock' jokes?

I know of them. I just do not have any need to participate in them.

But then I have to find another topic to talk about.

Do you lack the inability to enjoy the company of others in silence?

[ shrugs, pausing a little before deciding to be a little honest for once. ]

. . . It's not comfortable. As comfortable.

Is that so? Hm. Very well, then. What is your class schedule like for next semester?

[ well. it's not his favourite topic, but it's a topic. ]

Same kind of load. A couple of bad ones and a few bird courses.

[ nods, as if interested. ]

What are your plans for the future?

Get my degree. Try not to sell my kidneys for money. Live happily ever after.

My question was meant for after you graduate. Are you going to pursue a higher degree? Seek employment?

Oh. [ pause. ] Work sounds good. More school doesn't.

And why is that?

You'd pick more school?

Of course. Learning is one of the main foundations of life.

Masters? Ph.D.? [ another pause. ] Law school, medical school, pharmacy, rocket science. . .

I am staying for my masters, at the very least. If it were not for my passion of the human body, I would have pursued law school.

[ considers this for a moment. ]

You could be a sports therapist. Put two of your passions together.

[ nods, clearly very satisfied with his answer. ]

That is my goal.

[ also nods, pleased with himself. ]

Does it take long?

Not as long as it would if my goal was to enter into law school. But I would enjoy staying in school as long as I am able.
