[ double-checks that everything in the house is straightened and in its proper place, despite having cleaned everything earlier that morning. a few peeks up the stairs towards her brother's room is the only other movement she makes besides nudging things here and there, taking a seat on the edge of a chair when she realizes that it probably won't be very long now. is quite aware (was made aware) that her brother had tricked anthony into thinking they were going to meet at twelve instead of twelve-thirty, but still can't help but glance outside the front window every few minutes to make sure that she would be there when he arrived. ]

[ lets go of michael's head to come around & plop down comfortably on his captain's lap. stares at rachel, then slings an arm around the other boy's neck. ]

Okay.

[ blinks from the sudden movement, moving his arms and hands away when ~~the chicken~~ anthony deposits himself on his lap. pauses. another blink before he looks over to his phone again, both unfazed and not looking bothered nor inconvenienced in any way. ]

[ puffs out her cheeks a little at michael's non-response. perks up when she takes out her own cellphone, flipping it open before holding it up and pressing the button to activate her camera. ]

Say "cheese"!

[ rests his forehead against michael's temple, eyes slipping closed as he yawns a bit. holds up his free hand to turn into a 'v'. ]

Neverland.

[ snaps the picture when michael glances up. laughs loudly when she looks down at the photo, holding it up for jeremy to see. ]

Love is in the air!

[ peers at the picture, then nods in approval. ]

I think your true calling's in the field of matchmaking.

Oh yeah? Maybe I'll get an A+ if I can find someone for you.

[ gives her waist a playful squeeze. ]

You'd deserve a degree if you can pull that off. I'm a hopeless case.

Good answer. [ ruffles his hair with a hand, standing finally. blinks when she notices anthony's dazing (or so she thinks), wandering on over to say: ] Hey, Juliet! Not gonna fall asleep in your one true love's arms, are ya?

[ waves at her dismissively, half-asleep & eyes closed. ]

M'just comfortable.

[ reaches over to pat his head gently. ]

No more Sprite for you, huh.

[ yawns. ]

Nope. Good right here.

[ one more pat to his head before she takes the necessary steps back to grab her beer. downs it, putting it down when she's finished. ]

'kay, then my work here is done. [ salutes michael. ] Get your damsel home safely, y'hear?

[ at that he looks at anthony as best as possible, asking: ]

Do you wish to return home now?

Okay. Want to come with?

[ checks his watch briefly, nodding. ]

I believe it will be fine if I accompany you home, yes.

I'll let you drive Tinkerbell. Just this once.

An honor, I am sure. [ pats his back twice. ] However, you must remove yourself first.

[ stays put for a moment. then stumbles back onto his feet while groping around for his keys. finds them a minute or two later & hands them over. ]

Be good to her.

[ nods, taking the keys before making a move to stand as well. looks at rachel. ]

We will be taking our leave, then.

Sure, but not before me. [ ruffles michael's hair roughly, turning to speak before leaving: ] See ya later, cap-i-tan.

I think I'm going to stick around for a while. [ gives them all a wave. ] You guys take care in getting back, yeah? Don't get into any accidents that I won't be around to see!

We'll be good.

[ points in a random direction for michael. ] This way!
