[ looks down at him briefly, but can't keep eye contact for too long. adjusts his glasses instead. ]

[ thinks about asking why he even wants to. decides to not outright ask. ]

A-and you're comfortable with that?

[ laughs, twisting to give him a hug. awkward position, but he doesn't care. ]

You're slow, aren't you? Well, good thing we're together.

[ speaking against oliver's shoulder. ]

I'll throw you out if I'm uncomfortable. There's no point keeping unneeded things.

[ looks away and down again. ]

O-of course. You're right. I-- I won't bother you, I promise.

[ rests his head on oliver's lap, closing his eyes. yawns. ]

Why aren't they here yet?

[ bites his bottom lip. tries to think of an answer. struggles, then admits defeat. ]
