[ the afternoon had been full of nothing but scooting about the flower shop, peeking out through the windows every once in a while for any sign of anthony. for it to rain early that morning and just progress throughout the day made him worried, especially with the thought that his employee (friend) had to ride in that weather. he already has a towel in hand, wringing it nervously between his palms, continuing his fretting and pacing near the entrance of the flower shop in silence. ]

[ putt putt putt; the chicken has arrived. if the scooter sounds didn't give it away, then the sudden flocking of birds on the roof definitely did. parks his scooter at the back of the building as usual & strolls into the shop with a hand lifted in greeting. ]

[ as the limousine steadily makes its way towards the masquerade brianna primps and preens. she isn't too worried about her appearance, already knowing that her gown, hair, and overall appearance is perfect, simply doing said fidgeting in order to keep herself busy. ]

[ snaps the compact shut and puts it back into her clutch purse, setting it aside before sparing a glance over to her date for the night. the look on her face is that of anticipation, yet there's some sort of amusement playing across her features as well. ]

[ is sitting up already with his head between his knees while continuing his sobbing. jumps when simon chucks the pillows across the room, letting out a small sound of surprise at the sudden movement.

though the next moment he's scooting away as far as he can from simon, backed up against the headboard like a scared animal would. ]
