Mmm~ [ hums in thought, wandering off further into the kitchen to nab what she needs. speaks in an almost sing-song voice, throwing a small smile and a wink over her shoulder at him. ] I suppose I can free up some time for you.

It's only a suppose?

[ the attitude is halfhearted, lips twitching a little. ]

I'm a busy woman.

[ pauses in her words as she gets started. thinks over this for a moment, turning to look at him again. ]

I've got filming that needs to be done for the rest of the week, but I have Saturday off. Let's spend the day together~

Filming, eh? Lead role? [ starts rummaging around the kitchen, the hunger getting the better of him as he continues to speak. ]

You sure you don't mind spending a free day with me?

But of course.

[ watches him in the corner of her eye. doesn't comment on his search. ]

Now who else would I want to spend my free day with, sweetheart?

[ search isn't going very well & his face is starting to show it; a tick to the corner of his good eye, a frown. ]

Could name one other person, sis. But you're offering, and I ain't so stupid to turn it down.

[ gives up on his search for a moment to face her. ]

So. Saturday. Just you and me. A date, then?

[ raises an eyebrow, giving a tiny smirk of amusement. ]

Oh, I would be honored. Gonna take me somewhere fun, mister man?

... uh. Was thinking something casual like the mall or something.

[ can't help it; starts a light chuckle/giggling mix, attempting to still hide her amusement behind the wooden spoon in her hands. ]

[ embarrassment obvious on his face, he scowls, voice spiking in volume. ]

The hell are you laughing at?! There's nothing wrong with casual!

I~ [ steps over to him, tapping the end of his nose with the spoon. ] was laughing at how cute you are.

[ goes cross-eyed for a sec, singular gaze focusing on the spoon before re-focusing on her. ]

Man, didn't I graduate from 'cute' already?

Oh, I'm sorry. I meant "cool", of course.

[ returns back to the food, briefly reaching up to the cabinet to take out two plates. ]

[ nods in approval & finally seems to catch on in what she's doing & starts looking over her shoulder, curious & hungry. ]

[ looks like you're having a delicious-looking fried rice, damon. just slides the meal onto the two plates, handing one to damon after she's finished. there's a lot on there... a lot. ]

Here you go, handsome.

[ stares at it for a moment, looking immensely pleased. ]

Looks so good. [ says this while grabbing a spoon, digging into it while standing as soon as he's finished speaking. ]

[ is pleased as well, nudging him gently with an elbow to lead them somewhere to sit down after nabbing a spoon as well. after a moment or two: ]

Is it good?

[ is obediently led into sitting, only pausing in his speed-eating to give her a look -- isn't that obvious? -- before continuing in his eating. ]

[ sticks nose in the air in a snobby way. turns to her own food and starts chowing down as well, a little more gracefully than he is. ]

[ soon finishes his food. straightens his back in a no-movement stretch, then leans back into his chair, looking stuffed & content. ]

Think that's the best and biggest meal I had in days. I should have you feed me more often, sis.

Well, you will be home all summer, won't you? [ leans back as well in her own chair, fiddling a little bit with her hair. ] I'll fix you something every night. Make me a list, okay~?

[ the grin spreads slowly but surely across his face. ]

Better not regret saying that.

Just as long as you realize that I'll be eating half of it.
