[ as the limousine steadily makes its way towards the masquerade brianna primps and preens. she isn't too worried about her appearance, already knowing that her gown, hair, and overall appearance is perfect, simply doing said fidgeting in order to keep herself busy. ]

[ snaps the compact shut and puts it back into her clutch purse, setting it aside before sparing a glance over to her date for the night. the look on her face is that of anticipation, yet there's some sort of amusement playing across her features as well. ]

[ with no more words he is willing to spare, he nods once more before stepping back, turning around & entering the crowd. accepts the company that he seems to instantly draw, relishing in it -- fills it with nonsense conversations, sometimes veering into his favourite subject of politics & once-in-a-while dancing -- with the steady goal of wiping the unpleasant smear the encounter left in his thoughts. ]
