[ zooming across the hallways and poking his head inside almost every classroom's door, tony adamantly searches for a certain fair-haired boy. nobody around him questions this quest, already knowing that said person he's looking for could only be one out of three: anthony, an unfortunate victim due to (half-)sharing the same name as tony, alyssa, a girl who everyone and their mom seemed to like (specifically all the boys who persistently tried to get her to date them), and riku, the unlucky son of a bitch who seemed to have the worst luck in the world, but was still the hottest teacher in the entire school.

who would it be this time?

it's not until he turns a corner into the sophomore hallway that he spots his target finally. stopping in the middle of the hallway while throwing his hands up in the air, he shouts: ]

CHOCOBOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!

[ almost jerks right out of tony's hold from the sudden stop & is only able to answer when he feels safe enough to let go. ]

You did?

YEP. [ puts him down finally, grabbing onto his wrist this time instead. ] I have it in my locker!

[ looks a little tired. ]

That's on the other side of the school. I'll wait 'til my birthday.

YOU WANT IT NOW? OKAY I'LL GO GET IT!

[ lets go of his wrist, ruffles his hair, and then runs off full speed. ]

[ watches him zoom off for a moment before rummaging around in his pockets. finds the necessary amount, he wanders over to the nearby vending machine for some orange juice, knowing that he probably had another few seconds before tony returned. ]

[ does his business at top-speed and comes back as instantly as usual, not even breaking a sweat. slides next to his companion in silence for once, eyes sparkling as he hands him this (http://i46.tinypic.com/mn22j9.jpg). looks as if he's anticipating something great. ]

[ accepts the present quietly, looking surprised followed shortly by elation -- chocobo style. holds the box with utmost carefulness, inspecting the back to look at the pictures before he looks up briefly for manners. ]

. . . thanks. [ & goes back to looking at the present with anticipation, wishing he had a spare instead of his class with riku. ]

[ gives him a sideways hug, which is more of a cling than anything else. ]

[ immediately lifts the arm holding the box when tony begins to speak again, not allowing it to be crushed with the rest of his body from tony's clinging. leans his head down on tony's to properly keep looking at the box that he's holding up. ]

Do you think I can skip next class?

Hmmmm I dunno I'LL GO ASK!

[ doesn't wait for his reply, too busy flailing off once more down the hallway towards riku's classroom. ]

[ momentarily wonders what kind of punishment he'd receive for sending tony to riku during the lunch hour -- & then just shrugs it off. starts strolling back to his own locker to tuck the present away in his bag where it'll be safe until he's able to put it together in silence at home. ]

[ jogs back just in time to see his chocobo approach his locker. stands there and waits next to him, putting his hands behind his back like a good boy in silence. ]

[ turns back around after he finishes, jumping a bit when he notices tony standing there. ]

[ deciding that he'll go apologize to riku later, he sighs & comes along while smoothing down his hair as much as possible. ]

[ jogs along only a tiny bit this time as the hallways start to thin out. ]
