[ is standing near the entrance of the starbucks where he had first met nathan, looking strangely compliant & calm as he listens & reacts (as quietly & discreetly as he's capable) to the bustling crowd of the afternoon. it's not so busy as to give him a headache, but busy enough to keep him entertained as he waits for his teammate/friend. ]

[ furrows his brows and tilts his head slightly, trying to decipher that middle bit. when he only gets half of it (the lesser half, but it's no less important in his mind) he stays quiet, though does not break eye contact. ]
