[ tucked against the corner of the couch, head lolling a bit as he dazes, an arm loosely wrapped around nathan's waist. the touch is as unintrusive as it gets -- relaxed and open so that nathan can get away anytime he wishes. twitches once in a while in his daze, however, still relatively aware as people appears & disappears in the map in his head. ]

[ swerves them in the other direction, hoping they're finally going the right way. ]

[ seems to forget the ice cream for a bit, head going left & right before he starts tugging her along again. ]

[ salutes him, going along willingly. ]

< Yes, sir! >

[ only glances back at her when they're well within seeing distance of the building, a sudden thought striking him. ]

< Hilda! Do you want to stay with me while you're visiting. . . ? You can have my bed! >

[ reaches over to ruffle his hair with a hand. ]

< Briefly. I had to make sure that they were good enough for my most favorite person ever, after all! >

[ laughs and takes a quick step forward so that she can give him a kiss to the forehead, putting an arm around him. ]

[ turns that into a complete hug, wrapping both arms around her. ]

[ blinks down at him, momentarily surprised. returns the favor after a pause, pushing her nose into the crown of his head. ]

[ then lifts her head to push away some of caleb's hair. ]

< You know you're always welcome back at home. If you're feeling homesick, or even if things don't work out here like you hoped they would. I'll always be there for you. >

< I like SAVE. I like being useful and helping people like Hilda helped me. I'm here because I disobeyed, so I'll stay. >
