[ ignores the strange looks from the passing drivers as he travels leisurely on his scooter. the sound of the characteristic putt putt putt noise of his transportation fills the driveway when he arrives in front of the mansion. it takes him another minute (or two) to properly park & put the machine to rest.

straightens & leans back in the seat a little as he takes out his phone to quickly type a text message: let me be your guest, mademoiselle & looks up toward a window to wait. ]

I hope to be a parent like that someday. [ wraps her arms around his neck, even if she has to shift to a somewhat uncomfortable position. sounds hopeful with her next words: ] Do you think I'd make a good mom?

No babies yet! Ice cream first, ice cream!

[ movement comes to him gradually, slowly straightening his back as he plucks the key out of his scooter & onto his feet. another beat, then he's offering a hand toward her. ]

I guess I do owe you a strawberry sundae.

[ takes off the helmet and blinks when the hand is extended, reaching out after a moment's pause to take it and give it a squeeze. hops down and adjusts the purse on her shoulder, giving him a nod when she's ready. ]

[ simply turns in the direction of the ice cream place that they frequently visit. ]
