[ isn't entirely there even when the plane comes to a complete stop; the noise ringing in his head is as painful as he remembers it being, making him sway a bit while pressing a hand to his forehead. the world before his eyes seems to double, triple, merge back into one, then double again, while the blueprint-world throbs in noisy emptiness. makes small whimpering noises when they're walking, barely hanging onto consciousness by focusing on that comforting, erratic heartbeat he knows is near.

gropes around for a smaller hand that he knows is around (but can't remember why it would be right this moment) while mumbling absentmindedly under his breath in german, as if he's welcoming himself back home. ]

Nein. Together with Nathan. So is fun, good, and nice.

Oh. [ taps a finger on the mug, staring down at it. back to caleb, feeling a little shy when he asks: ] D-does Hilda make you a lot of books?

Ja. Hilda know a lot, and she is good teacher. Is easy to learn with Hilda.

[ gives a considering look. a few questions linger on the tip of his tongue, holding them back to instead make a statement. ]

[ nods again, though this time with more energy. ]

Ja! I like Hilda a lot! Is family!

[ looks down at his mug, unable to keep himself from smiling. ]

She... she's a nice person, so. Not surprised.

[ puts his mug down to tug him close again. grows quiet for a bit when a strange (uncharacteristic) need to share comes to mind. ]

Hilda is good to me. [ pauses. ] Give me place with SAVE. With old team.

[ peers up at him, tilting his head a bit at caleb's hesitation. puts down his own mug to scoot closer. second-guesses himself when more questions come to mind, deciding to just start with the most simple one he can think of. ]

[ opens his mouth before closing it. shuts his eyes, resigned to the fact that he can't push for more answers. ]

[ seems content with this enough, though he stills after some thought. shifts so that he can wrap his own arms around caleb's middle, pressing his face into his shoulder. ]

[ stays in that hold for a little while longer, then pulls away. frees a hand to tilts nathan's head up & leans down, kissing him both softly & firmly at once. as if he's trying to say what he knows he cannot properly communicate with his broken english. ]

[ goes through his typical stages of surprise, embarrassment, then relaxation. when he settles into something comfortable and familiar he gets lost in the moment; slips his arms upward to wrap them around caleb's neck, not being able to help himself when he presses himself closer, mouth parting a little-- ]

[ JUST. jumps back and scrambles a good few feet away from caleb, feeling his face practically catch on fire. ]

Erm. . . [ glances down at his arms & lets them drop them awkwardly. ] Is bad?
