[ packs the essential water bottles & sandwiches in his backpack before he's off, putt putt putting to the fair's designated parking spot. doesn't immediately head for the meeting spot, however, strolling on over the bathroom first to do his business. before he leaves, he takes a moment to poke at some of the misbehaving strands on his head in a slightly disgruntled manner. attempts smoothing the strands down twice, then shakes his head, accepting the catastrophe that had been yesterday's sudden rain shower.

making his way back into the outside world, he ignores the trail of waddling seagulls behind him & begins to lazily walk toward the ticket booth to wait for alyssa & tony. ]

[ pushes the octopus into his face. ]

The plan is foiled as soon as we lower our guards.

[ grunts. ]

Then what do you suggest we do, genius?

Endure.

That means she's sleeping on your side, right?

[ pauses. then holds up a fist. ]

. . . Rock paper scissors.

[ lifts a fist, knocking down anthony's hand. ]

Rock wins everything. I win!

[ scrunches his nose, then lifts his own fist again to nudge at tony's cheek. ]

No. Properly.

[ expression wavers a bit at that, grumbling something underneath his breath. ]

Fine, fine.

[ nods & holds up his fist again. ]

Rock, paper. . . scissors. [ holds out paper. ]

[ since he's being a smartass he goes right back to rock again.

... face falls drastically, almost a little comically. ]

[ coughs a bit, barely hiding his glee under a flat expression. ]

She's on your side.

[ looks away, feeling extremely uncomfortable with this prospect. clears his throat after he's had a moment, side-glancing anthony with a grin. ]

Well... she's much cuter than you, so I guess this is a victory.

[ doesn't seem bothered at all, merely nodding in agreement. ]

I'll make waffles. If you can still eat in the morning.

I'll pass. They'll probably taste like cardboard.

But they're Eggo.

Hey, I know! We should have Alyssa make us breakfast! She could wear a cute little apron and everything.

[ pinches at his nose hard. ]

Cooking is only for us commoners.

[ winces and whines a little. ]

But... it'd be so cute...!

My one chance to wake up to a girl making me breakfast... ruined, all ruined!

[ blinks at him. ]

Your girlfriends don't stay?

[ pushes the hand away from his nose and shakes his head. ]

I don't do sleepovers.

[ blinks again, looking confused. tilts his head, thinking. ]

. . . ? [ tilts his head the other way. ] . . . Really?

[ & he looks just as confused. ]

Really.

[ hesitates, wondering how he can word his question as best as possible. ]

But. They. . . You make them leave? After. . . [ goes a bit red. ] Things?
