[ packs the essential water bottles & sandwiches in his backpack before he's off, putt putt putting to the fair's designated parking spot. doesn't immediately head for the meeting spot, however, strolling on over the bathroom first to do his business. before he leaves, he takes a moment to poke at some of the misbehaving strands on his head in a slightly disgruntled manner. attempts smoothing the strands down twice, then shakes his head, accepting the catastrophe that had been yesterday's sudden rain shower.

making his way back into the outside world, he ignores the trail of waddling seagulls behind him & begins to lazily walk toward the ticket booth to wait for alyssa & tony. ]

[ giggles again & swings her foot hard against anthony's knee one more time before wrapping her arms around tony's neck. ]

I like you now! Be my boyfriend!

[ hums in thought, as if he's giving it some serious consideration. ]

I dunno... your brother might not be happy with that.

[ draws back & tilts her head with a familiar expression. slow blinks. ]

That's true, huh. . . We don't really like sharing.

. . . ! Oh! I know!

[ puffs out her cheeks proudly. ]

Then be our boyfriend!

[ looks over to where alyssa and elias are. makes a face. ]

Would he want me to be his boyfriend?

[ glances at her twin also, making vague grabby hands until elias notices & returns the motion. then turns back to tony. ]

Huh? Why not?

[ glances at the motions before he droops a little. ]

I don't think he likes me very much...

[ wraps her arms around his neck again to give a squeeze. ]

You're so silly. If I like you, then we like you!

[ shakes his head a little before leaning in to rub his nose against hers. ]

Aw, ain't you sweet.

[ looks over at anthony. gives a stupid smile and a little wave, as if he isn't sitting right next to him. ]

[ doesn't notice the wave immediately as his head had been turned to the side as he observes some distant point. has both legs drawn rather close to his chest & out of reach. turns back to tony when the movement does register, lifting a hand in response with a confused blink. ]

[ ignores anthony, busily grabbing a hold of tony's face to swing it back towards her. ]

So now that you're our boyfriend, tell Elly that you love him when he gets here, okay~?

[ comes bounding out of nowhere, as if summoned. puts down the tray of food that he's carrying on the table. turns to eileen then, reaching out with a hand towards her. ]

[ beams, immediately wiggling off tony's lap to give elias a hug. ]

Elly~ Look, I got us a boyfriend!

Boyfriend? [ glances between tony & anthony. ] . . . Mister Pineapple?

Yeah! He's going to tell you that he loves you~

[ blinks, then turns to face tony expectantly. ]

. . .

[ sits there silently, looking rather uncomfortable with this. ]

[ as if on cue she twirls towards the group with the drinks in her hands, sliding them down carefully next to anthony. throws her hands up in the air. ]

Gooooooal~!

[ whips around toward her on cue, giving excited claps. ]

Yaaay!!

[ stops himself from instinctively moving closer at their voice, though he gives her a glance of relief. then peers down at the collection of food on their table. ]

. . . How much did you order?

A whoooole bunch.

[ comes around the table to seat herself between two empty spots, said empty spaces already reserved for a certain pair. starts laying the food out. ]

Just take whatever you want! It's on me.

[ immediately comes scurrying, obediently seating themselves next to her as they grab for their own favourites. ]

[ keeps peering at the food for a while before picking out a burger. ]

Thanks. But then I buy the churros.
