[ continues her trek towards one of the less crowded areas of the school, holding two bags full of (homemade) food close to her chest. when she spots her company for the afternoon she shifts the excess weight to free her hands; comes up behind anthony, reaching up to put her palms over his eyes as she happily exclaims: ]

[ shoulders slump a little. reaches over to wrap an arm around anthony's before leaning on him lightly. ]

[ leans back, gently resting his head against hers. speaks quietly. ]

[ holds on a little tighter, shaking her head. ]

But I have mommy and daddy. And the twins! And Tony...

[ thinks about it. shakes her head again and sits up, reaching over to pick up her water and sip at it. ]

I don't need to have one.

[ takes her other hand into a light grip. ]

[ glances over to the direction of the restroom. gently removes her hand and sets her glass down before getting up from her seat. ]

Um. I'll be right back, okay?

[ & then she scurries off towards the potty. ]

[ stares after her, then settles back into his seat. puts his smoothie-cup back on the table when he's finished with it, grabby the gummy worms instead. munches on them as he stares out the window, feeling himself slip into an inner monologue as he waits for alyssa's return. ]

[ when she sees him alone she comes back around, giving one passing glance towards the window to see what he's looking at. back to anthony. ]

Is something the matter?

[ snaps out of his glazed look at her voice. blinks. ]

No, I'm okay. Lyssa just went to the bathroom.

[ glances over at the bathroom briefly, deciding to disregard it for now. ]

Did you decide on anything else to eat, then?

[ points to the bags in reply. then pauses for a moment before adding: ]

Um... Anthony? Have you... spoken to my brother recently?

[ shuffles her feet a little, embarrassed. ]

He hasn't been by recently, so... I wanted to know if he's okay.

. . . He's okay. Same as usual.

[ pauses for a moment. ] He doesn't call you?

[ shakes her head, looking a little mopey. looks up again to quickly add on: ]

Oh, but it's probably because he's so busy. He works very hard.
