[ he's not sure how, but he's absolutely certain that it's one of those mornings where waking up would be a Bad Idea. even when he's only half-awake, he can feel the dull throb in his head, signaling the presence of a progressively worsening migraine. presses a hand to his forehead gingerly as he peeks open one eye. shuts it immediately when the light amplifies the headache even further. somehow manages to roll over onto his side with a soft groan, expression twisting into one of pain as he patterns out his breathing.

several minutes later, reattempts at opening his eyes. is successful this time, leaving him to blink owlishly at the blurry image of the (foreign-but-not) room laid out before him. jerks bodily when he realizes that this is not his room, but tony's. doesn't quite get to the point of throwing himself off the bed, however, hindered quite successfully by the pounding headache. feels slightly better upon realizing that tony's strangely absent, filling him with a sense of hope that he can get away unscathed. as such, he stubbornly pushes down the memories as he wraps his arms around his head, concentrating on breathing & recovering so that he can escape as soon as possible. ]

Oh! That is wonderful! You are very close to your sibling, then?

[ slowly pushes himself onto his feet. ]

I'm working on it.

[ puts a hand on his shoulder, holding him there. ]

You should not move too much right now. [ holds up the other glass of liquid, handing it to anthony. ] Drink this! It helps.

[ accepts the glass, glancing down at it curiously. ]

. . . What's this?

A German remedy to help cure hangovers. [ nudges it towards him gently. ] Drink, drink!

[ twists his body in a resisting manner, crinkling his nose. ]

I think it's a bad idea, Houston.

[ takes that as him attaching a name to her face, instead lifting a hand for him to shake. ]

Oh! I did not introduce myself, did I? I am Hilda! And you are Anthony, ja?

[ takes her hand. ]

Y-Yeah. . . [ short pause. ] Tony told you?

[ shakes his hand firmly before letting it go, giving a nod. ]

He's told me many things about you and Alyssa. He thinks very highly of you both.

[ eyes go to the floor briefly. ]

Because he's nice.

[ gives a kind smile, idly trying to fluff up a strand of anthony's hair that seemed to have drooped a little. ]

Ja. He is.

[ blinks at that, looking up at her. ]

Are you his friend?

[ looks up at the ceiling in thought as she hums. looks down at him again. ]

Call me his boss of sorts.

[ stares for a moment, then nods, deciding not to pry anymore into tony's life. glances down at the drink again. ]

. . . Smells like tomatoes and paste.

It's very good! [ nudges it at him again. ] Try! You will feel better in no time!

[ hesitates, then takes an experimental sip. immediately recoils, jerking the drink away. ]

Hrk!

[ nods a little, as if overlooking his obvious distaste for the drink. gives some encouraging nods. ]

More, more!

[ tries to hand the drink back. ]

I feel like a champion. I'm good.

[ blinks. pushes it towards him again. ]

You must drink all of it.

Let's compromise.

[ pushes back. ] Germany drinks nine-tenth of it.

[ shakes her head, pushing it towards him again. ]

Plug your nose, it helps if you do not like the taste!

[ grimaces, but settles himself back down to sit on the bed as he takes another sip. stares down at the concoction miserably. ]

Alien potion, you are not good to me. . .

German potion! It is good for you. [ reaches over to the nightstand again, grabbing the tray with the soup on it so that she can settle it onto anthony's lap. ] Eat this, too!

[ puts down the glass to pick up the spoon, gladly trading the drink for the soup. ]

I can do soup. Soup can't go wrong.
