[ double-checks that everything in the house is straightened and in its proper place, despite having cleaned everything earlier that morning. a few peeks up the stairs towards her brother's room is the only other movement she makes besides nudging things here and there, taking a seat on the edge of a chair when she realizes that it probably won't be very long now. is quite aware (was made aware) that her brother had tricked anthony into thinking they were going to meet at twelve instead of twelve-thirty, but still can't help but glance outside the front window every few minutes to make sure that she would be there when he arrived. ]

[ snuggles closer to her, nuzzling at her neck. then rears up to give her a kiss on the cheek. ]

Cap-i-tan has weird friends. Just look at us!

[ raises an eyebrow, leaning down to come closer to his face. ]

Weird friend. That goofball over there is just an accessory.

[ jerks a bit, surprised that he's suddenly part of the conversation again. ]

Wha-- hey! [ pause. ] I guess I can be an attractive accessory. . .

[ leans away from her to give her a stern look. ]

Friends. I'm his friend too. I demand it. It's part of my rights! I'm the goalie! [ throws up his hands. ]

[ ignores jeremy, grinning. ]

Well ain't that precious. [ looks up and over at michael. ] Hey, cap-i-tan! Think you've got yourself another frie~nd.

[ turns away from rachel. stares at michael. ]

[ looks up from his phone when he feels eyes on him, staring back at anthony for a long while. eventually turns back to his phone. ]

That is acceptable, I suppose.

[ air punches upward. ]

YES!

[ pats anthony's shoulder, trying to not look too amused at this. ]

Aw, isn't that great? You were given his undying love!

[ turns back to rachel, looking rather serious. ]

Do you think he can fire me if I kiss him?

[ glances at michael, who's not listening. a flash of a grin spreads across her face before she turns somewhat serious herself, humming in mock-thought. ]

Naw. You'll be safe.

Are you sure? I like soccer.

Fuck yeah. A little kiss won't hurt anybody, not even you.

[ nods, seemingly seeing the logic in this. stands up to approach michael properly, wrapping his arms around his captain's head to smoosh him against his chest. kisses the top of his head. ]

I like you. Let's be friends.

[ thump goes his head, blinking when his view is partially blocked from viewing his cellphone. tries to look up, sighing and raising an eyebrow. ]

Did I not already say that it is acceptable?

[ gives him a big smooch on the forehead. ]

I just wanted confirmation. . .

I was not aware that further confirmation was needed.

[ loosens the hug so that it's more comfortable, bending a little so that he can touch the hair with his cheek. ]

It never hurts.

[ think about it. nods, but not enough to pry himself from anthony's grip. ]

Hm. Very well, then. I confirm your friendship.

You're good to me. I appre-see-ate you.

That is rather contradictory to my previous assumptions, but I suppose things have changed.

What? I like you plenty.

I understand, as you have just expressed your affections to a great degree.

But you called me a liar! In big words.

I was not calling you a liar. I was making it known that my own assumptions were incorrect, and I should rearrange my thoughts in regards to you.
