[ after albert and brianna declared their plans to go out on a date for the rest of the evening, she took it upon herself to personally watch lyssa until they returned home, despite her former plans with her boyfriend. it's with that change (and realization of what she did at the very last moment) that she calls up caleb to tell him the news, sounding disappointed until she gleefully casually suggested that he come over to help. after some convincing that yes, albert won't be here and yes, she'll wait for him by the door, is done and over with, she happily skips down the stairs after telling lyssa's personal ninja butler that she'll be back shortly.

plops down on the second to last step of the stairs while happily swaying and humming to herself, her eyes planted on the doorway to wait for caleb to enter. ]

[ loosens his embrace around her so that they're more comfortable & blinks. ]

[ traces his face with her fingers some more, careful to avoid his nose. ]

[ looks a bit floored (in the good way). then carefully draws her close to him, cradling her against his chest like he would something precious. ]

[ pushes her face into him, kissing the spot above his heart. ]

Ich liebe dich auch. < And I know you don't, but I wanted to say it anyway. >

[ ducks her head a little, distinctly pleased. murmurs into his chest. ]

< ... you're welcome. >

[ gently nudges his chin with her head. ]

< We should sleep now. > [ pats his side a little. ] < Covers? >

[ nods against her hair & wiggles a bit to grab the covers from under them. tucks it around their bodies, only settling again when he sees that it's properly wrapped around nathania. ]

< Are you comfortable? >

[ squirms and wiggles a little just to look cute to try and get more comfortable, settling in nicely when she feels like all is right with the world. faces caleb, beaming up at him. ]

< Very! >

[ repeats her previous motions, pressing his lips against her cheek, her forehead, then her lips. lets the latter kiss linger a little before he pulls away to curl around his midget girlfriend properly. ]

[ smiles a little dumbly at that before she scoots as close to his body as humanly possible, tucking her head close to his heart. closes her eyes, breathing out contently. ]

[ & then she slowly succumbs to sleep, a smile still planted on her face. ]
