[ is helping with this & that, exchanging a few words with some people, sitting down for a few minutes with others if they were insistent -- but he's mostly on his feet or by the door, greeting & serving.

this used to be his life. he doesn't really miss it (right now, he was only here for anna; wouldn't be here otherwise). eyes go up to the clock for the umpteenth time, sighing inwardly. too much time left. too much. ]

[ shifts and scoots down further on the couch, looking as if he doesn't want the contact.

that is, until he flops down, head landing on rob's lap. hi up there. ]

[ ... & he can't control the smile this time (a weird feeling), forcing him to bend a little so he can hide his expression from the rest of the world as he tries to get it back under control.

in the meantime, a hand goes into riku's hair, fingers playing lightly with the locks. ]

[ lifts a hand as he bends slightly, brushing a few strands away from rob's face. ]

I think we can both stand to break the rules at least once in a while.

[ lets his fingers trace rob's jaw, letting his hand fall onto his own stomach afterward. ]

[ leans down a little bit more. ]

[ or maybe not, what with the way he reaches his hand up again to grab (gently) at the back of rob's neck, finally connecting their lips together. is very thankful that they are in the back right about now. ]

[ fighting the kneejerk reaction to get away, he's unresponsive for a moment, becoming accustomed to a feeling that wasn't -- uncomfortable, but not comfortable (it was tingly & was without a name in his head). ]

[ & when he gets used to it, he's getting into it, managing to put both hands on riku's face to ease the kiss, making it more chaste yet -- fonder. as gentle as possible. ]

[ really can't help but let a tiny smile cross his face, hoping that he doesn't come off as too eager. but after a good span of time passes by he reluctantly pulls back, though stays close enough to shift and press a kiss to rob's forehead in closing. ]

[ brushes some of the bangs from riku's face, choosing not to think about the moment, simply enjoying it. fingers linger on the cheeks, the touch featherlight. his voice drops to an amused whisper: ]

[ enjoys said touch a little too much. relaxes fully, though leaves that hand at the base of rob's neck, running a few fingers up and down softly. also speaks in a hushed tone: ]

[ he can't quite say the words that he wants to (not yet), so he's settling with another hesitant brush of lips against riku's, hoping it'd get his message across. ]

[ would tease him for this, but won't, even after they have their moment. seeing as how he's not content in ending it yet, he continues where they left off, though he's being just as light and soft as rob is. ]

[ gently dislodges riku's hands from his neck & leans back into the couch, drawing his face away. his hands remain, however, making slow stroking motions with the back of the hand against riku's cheek idly, almost without thought. ]

How did you know I was here?

[ stares up at him in thought, then raises an eyebrow and smiles. shifted a bit to get comfortable again, eyes closing to fully enjoy said stroking. ]
