[ circles around to face her boys when they get inside of the park, taking out her handy dandy map to look over it. doesn't take too long in deciding what to do first; hands go on her hips, giving them a look as if she's leading an army going to war, though the smile on her face adds something more pleasant onto the double-meaning. ]
So I was thinking that we should split up first and meet up for lunch later. It's pretty crowded today. Going in twos is the best option, since we don't want to lose any short people.

Are you capable of being patient?
no subject
Depends on where we're going.

Yeah, okay, if you want.

Nothing else catches your interest?

[ doesn't look up from his cellphone, punching in a few things here and there. ]

trails in and out of the people, finally spotting albert's back again. sighs and moves a bit quicker to stand by his side this time, deciding that putting away his cellphone would be better for now. ]

but he doesn't fight the urge that the feeling leaves behind, doesn't fight it when his left arm seems to move on its own accord, hand reaching for nathan's wrist, fingers curling around it: a gentle touch to keep him close, light enough to be pulled out of without effort, firm enough to resist being bumped off by the crowd.
feeling oddly satisfied, his attention once again begins to wander. ]

looks down at the hold albert has on his wrist, looking oddly perplexed. for some reason it doesn't shake him, doesn't make him want to pull away and yell at him for doing it. instead he lets out a sigh through his nose, turning his attention forward again towards their destination.
doesn't say anything, simply allowing them to be and nothing more, nothing less. ]

STUPID CROWD! I know it's Disneyland but GEEZ, do they have to push so much? GOD.

does release a quiet breath, however, when they move into something of a clearing. his hand immediately loosens on nathan's wrist (but does not let go) as they continue onward. ]
We should arrive soon.

[ is automatically swayed from his previous anger, the voice of his stomach (it's expecting food soon) overriding anything else. doesn't even think twice of continuing their conversation. ]
How much more time do we have?
no subject
Close to three hours.
no subject
THREE?! Are you serious? That crowd made it seem like YEARS. Why are so many people here anyway? It's like, eighty bucks to get into Disneyland.
no subject
The price is worth paying, I suppose.
no subject
Why's that?

[ a short pause as he watches yet another family pass them by. next words are spoken with a curious undertone, clinically detached as his guesses are verbally addressed. ] For something that far outweighs the financial consequences. Memories, perhaps.

... huh.

Hey, I think a parade is starti-- AH, HEY-!
[ is tugged along before he's able to get any further than that, though he doesn't yell at albert, simply looking over his shoulder and craning his head to see what's going on. ]
no subject
Would you like one?

[ stands on his tip-toes, still attempting to get a look. his nose betrays his eye's interest, however; looks at albert and then at the stand. the food looks funny and he's never seen one before, so that's his cue to once again look up at the one beside him in confusion. ]
Uh. What are they?
