[ a lazy summer afternoon seemed like the perfect opportunity for alyssa to drag her best friend to the tv room in the mansion; it seemed like an even better idea to play new moon as their movie of choice, having missed the chance to see it in theaters because of final exams and graduation.

she keeps quiet, too enthralled in the thought that tony had actually agreed to sit down and watch it with her... up until they get fifteen minutes into the movie, that is. shifts slightly in her position against tony, a disgruntled look appearing on her face. ]

This movie is nothing like the book!

[ raises his free hand to poke at her cheek with his index finger. ]

Indirect kiss from Mister Duck.

[ initially blinks at that but ends up smiling. ]

That is very sweet of Minster Duck. I believe I will have to return the favor someday.

[ pulls hand back. ]

He charges interest.

Oh does he now. And just how much does he charge, darling?

I'm still in debt, honey.

Hmm... I guess I'd better do something about that.

Ask him to spare my soul?

Or maybe sic your Gundam on him!

You wouldn't actually hurt the guy... just scare him a little bit.

[ doesn't answer immediately, head moving left to right as he inspects the beach. starts steering them to a less densely populated area of sand while purposefully dragging his feet through the sand. ]

This requires practice.

[ goes along willingly, but peers at him curiously in the process. ]

Oh?

[ nods sagely. ]

Yeah. There's a fine balance between intimidating ducks into doing your bidding and intimidating ducks into fainting.

Ohhh. Are you going to teach me how to not disturb this balance?

Or we could wing it.

[ stops abruptly and plops down into the sand, scooting some of it around with the palm of her hands. ]

Aw, but I thought you'd make a wonderful teacher.

[ glances & also bends down, though he busies with dusting the gathered sand off his shoes instead. ]

I promise you it's all propaganda.

[ doesn't respond as she's too busy forming something distinctly block-shaped, humming a bit as she goes along. ]

[ deems the status of his shoes to be unsalvageable & instead focuses on watching alyssa work while occasionally pushing more sand toward her to help her creation along. ]

[ begins to form something in deep concentration, only realizing that he's there when he starts to push sand her way. turns her head towards him, whapping him once (lightly) on the face. ]

No, don't look!

[ the whap makes him lean away with his customary 'oof'. puts on a hurt face for show, but nonetheless obediently backs a few feet away to settle himself down on the sand & wait. ]

[ looks pleased enough with his departure, eyes circling back around to stare at her work of art in progress. takes a few more moments to form a gundam-shaped pile of sand, scooting back a bit before squatting again to peek down at it.

turns to him when she feels like it's complete, giving him a great big smile. ]

Ta-da~!

[ scoots back over to look at her creation, blinking when he doesn't immediately get what it's supposed to be. after tilting his head around a bit to achieve a certain angle, however, he wears a look of awe & surprise. ]

Gundam?
