[ packs the essential water bottles & sandwiches in his backpack before he's off, putt putt putting to the fair's designated parking spot. doesn't immediately head for the meeting spot, however, strolling on over the bathroom first to do his business. before he leaves, he takes a moment to poke at some of the misbehaving strands on his head in a slightly disgruntled manner. attempts smoothing the strands down twice, then shakes his head, accepting the catastrophe that had been yesterday's sudden rain shower.

making his way back into the outside world, he ignores the trail of waddling seagulls behind him & begins to lazily walk toward the ticket booth to wait for alyssa & tony. ]

[ glances back briefly at where they left alyssa & the twins. turns back around & reaches for a sandwich of his own with a shrug. ]

[ looks rather pleased. takes a bite of his sandwich, then gives a small kick to tony's foot when a thought strikes him. ]

Easy. Second lunch is coming too.

[ jerks a bit within the impact, stopping and looking up to droop at anthony. ]

But it's so good...

[ pauses. then nods in defeat. ]

. . . Right. Children.

[ goes back to his sandwich, munching on a second one. ]

[ reaches for a water bottle & blinks. ]

[ keeps on eating, only stopping when he notices the look anthony is giving him. shrugs a bit. ]

What? Y'guys were getting all comfy over there.

But that's normal.

[ stares at him for a moment. another shrug before he goes back to his food. ]

Haven't seen it in a while, I guess.

[ twitches a bit in shock, returning the stare. then glances down at the table top. ]

But you haven't seen us together lately.

[ murmurs against his water bottle: ]

That too, yeah.

[ slowly begins to reach out to give tony's hand a pat-- ]

[ drops the tray of food in between them, just narrowly missing smooshing anthony's hand. ]

Food delivery~!

[ blinks out of his stupor when the tray suddenly appears. grins over at eileen, lifting a hand to pat her head. ]

[ seems happy enough to accept the pat without retaliation, giggling a little. ]

Do I get another prize? More cotton candy? A churro? All three?

[ pauses. then sighs and strokes her hair once before letting the hand fall onto his lap. ]

Aw, geez... I guess all three, then.

Whoo-hoo~! [ wiggles herself onto his lap. then swings her legs a little to smack a foot into anthony's knee under the table. ignores his yelp, looking up at tony with wide eyes. ]

[ doesn't notice the cry of pain as well, too busy puffing out his chest a little bit. ]

Of course. I'd be a really stupid pineapple if I left him out in the cold!
