[ packs the essential water bottles & sandwiches in his backpack before he's off, putt putt putting to the fair's designated parking spot. doesn't immediately head for the meeting spot, however, strolling on over the bathroom first to do his business. before he leaves, he takes a moment to poke at some of the misbehaving strands on his head in a slightly disgruntled manner. attempts smoothing the strands down twice, then shakes his head, accepting the catastrophe that had been yesterday's sudden rain shower.

making his way back into the outside world, he ignores the trail of waddling seagulls behind him & begins to lazily walk toward the ticket booth to wait for alyssa & tony. ]

[ takes some of the sundae, stopping to blink when he sees her. noms down a bite of the ice cream before slowly holding his own bowl up as well. ]

. . . ?

[ knocks anthony on the head lightly with a fist. ]

I think you're doing it wrong.

[ winces & puts his bowl down, rubbing at his head uncertainly. ]

It wasn't a toast?

If you don't get it then I ain't gonna explain it to you.

. . . No hints?

No. Y'know what you should do instead? [ clinks his spoon against his own bowl. ] Get me pajama pants!

[ glances at alyssa, then takes a bite of his ice cream. ]

Might not fit.

[ droops. ]

But I'm the only one not in pajamas...

[ nudges the ice cream over to him. ]

Later. When you're freshening up.

Aw...

[ dutifully begins to eat, albeit a lot slower than usual. ]

[ wipes her mouth off with one of the previously used napkins after she's had enough for the moment. looks between tony and anthony. blinks. ]

Is someone going to sleep on the floor? Your bed isn't very big, Anthony...

[ jabs his spoon upward as he announces his profound solution: ]

Horizontal.

Denied.

It'll work.

For short people, maybe.

You can have my chair as footrest.

But that's not comfortable for me...

[ perks up and leans forward towards tony. ]

That's okay! You can be my bed. I'll sleep on you all night!

[ lifts a hand to pat her head. ]

Ahh, that's a Bad Idea.

[ lifts a hand to cast his vote. ]

I think it's a Very Good Idea.

[ uses his other hand to thunk it atop anthony's head. ]

I think your vote Doesn't Count.

[ winces again & scoots away a little. ]

But she's light.

That means you won't mind if she sleeps on you instead, right?

She picked you. Suck it up.

[ shifts a bit in his seat, giving anthony a suggestive look as he reaches over to tug a strand of his hair. ]

I don't think I'm the one that's supposed to do the sucking around here.
