[ picks up another worm to nom on it himself, his expression gradually falling at her exclamation. ]

[ looks back to him, pouting a little. reaches over to fluff his hair. ]

[ scoots a little closer to begin stroking his hair. ]

But I take such good care of it.

[ leans into it even further, until he does his own degree of scooting so that he can semi-rest his head on her shoulder. ]

[ shifts a bit to press a kiss to the top of his head, resting her own on his half-way so that she can continue to stroke his hair at the same time. ]

[ takes one of his hands with her unused one, hooking their pinky fingers together loosely. ]
