[ pulls onto the street across from anthony's apartment complex to park his car, turning the vehicle off before leaning back into the seat in silence. a day when they're both free was rare to come by nowadays, thus the sudden decision to grab the boy when he was given the a-okay by anthony himself. only this time he was going to him instead of the other way around, a good way to practice on getting back into something more comfortable with the friend(s) he had not been able to spend time with as often as he would have liked. still, it was a good start, and that's really all that mattered to him.

drums his fingers against the steering wheel in thought, shaking his head before getting out of the car, pocketing his keys after he's locked up. doesn't take any time in doing the typical routine (that he had not been able to do in quite some time)-- walks in, waits for the elevator, steps inside to push the button for the correct floor number, then strolls on out when the ding signals his arrival. his feet carry him at a leisurely pace towards the apartment, arriving in no time at all; after he knocks he shoves his hands into his pockets, taking a look around the hallway as if this were his first time visiting. a moment's thought makes him grin to himself a little (the things that happened last time they were alone together, still going over that day with some fondness attached despite the bad moments), schooling the smile to instead train his eyes on the door to wait for his friend to appear. ]

[ pushes the hand away, leaning his face close to anthony's. ]

But it's not a lie. We've kissed before... right?

Have not!

[ leaves that in the air as he shrinks away a bit while desperately trying to remember. ] On the. . . forehead and. . . [ shakes his head. ] D-Doesn't count.

It counts. [ leans forward enough to plant a kiss on his nose before finally moving away fully. ] I'll be back with your food in a bit, 'kay?

[ doesn't -- can't -- stop him at that gesture, letting him go mutely as he simply stares.

... nods. ]

[ winks, turning away from anthony to begin his walk to KFC first. can't help but grin widely along the way, feeling like this is a "mission accomplished" for him.

ceases that grin half-way through, as it doesn't take him too long to get their food. comes wandering on back with one tray, not finding any need for a second one even though both their meals are stacked on it. lifts a hand in greeting once he arrives back to their table. ]

Special delivery for Anthony!

[ had kept his eyes on the tabletop after having waddled back to their table after tony departed, dazing a little. so it takes him a while to full register, even when his head lifts itself on instinct when he hears tony's voice. stares at his friend's face, the food, then back at his friend. ]

. . . How much tip?

[ smiles widely, setting the food down on the table. ]

One kiss and two hugs!

[ rubs at his face with a hand while reaching for his food with the other. ]

I can do three hugs?

[ takes a seat, reaching out to open his container of food. ]

You're in luck! I only accept hugs and kisses from cute girls. [ grabs his plastic fork. ] Free of charge.

[ blinks a little, barest flash of disappointment crossing his expression. but it passes so fast that even he doesn't seem to have acknowledged it, instead picking up a fry to wave it around a bit. ]

Tony's Tuesday Deal?

[ stabs a piece of orange chicken, noming that down as his eyes wander to a group of females sitting a few tables down to his right. ]

Somethin' like that.

[ busily munches down on his food until he curiously follows tony's line of sight. rolls his eyes upward, then back at tony. ]

People you know?

[ keeps his eyes on them as he grins a little, resting an arm on the table as he lazily munches. ]

No, but I'd like to get to know them.

[ glances at the girls briefly. ]

. . . Go say hi. I won't tell Mister Riku.

[ turns his attention back to anthony, lifting a hand to prod his nose gently. ]

No way, I'm already on a date right now. That'd be rude of me.

[ goes cross-eyed momentarily. shakes his head & returns the prodding via his foot, giving tony a light nudge against the shin. ]

Guy-dates are more flexible.

[ grunts a little at that, prodding him back with the same gesture. ]

It might not seem like it, but I've got morals and rules for myself.

[ twitches a bit, but doesn't retaliate. noms down a fry before nodding. ]

I know.

[ munches a little bit on his food, picking up some chicken again to wiggle it in front of anthony's face. ]

Enough about that. Say "Ah~"

. . . [ stares at him in a are you serious manner. ]

Ah.

[ regardless he shoves it into anthony's mouth wordlessly, stabbing another piece for himself to nom on. ]

[ chokes at first, holding the chicken between his teeth. then starts to chomp down on it, taking a sip of his drink afterward. ]

Tastes just like MSG.

[ waves his fork in the air. ]

We're all gonna die someday.

[ offers him a fry. ]

I want to die a hero.

[ leans over to eat it out of anthony's hand. ]

Sounds manly.
