[ double-checks that everything in the house is straightened and in its proper place, despite having cleaned everything earlier that morning. a few peeks up the stairs towards her brother's room is the only other movement she makes besides nudging things here and there, taking a seat on the edge of a chair when she realizes that it probably won't be very long now. is quite aware (was made aware) that her brother had tricked anthony into thinking they were going to meet at twelve instead of twelve-thirty, but still can't help but glance outside the front window every few minutes to make sure that she would be there when he arrived. ]

[ nods and turns, happily wandering off towards the bar. ]

[ watches after her for a while in thought. turns to anthony, holding out a hand for the can. ]

May I see that for a moment?

[ double-checks that it's empty before handing it over. ]

It's really empty.

[ doesn't listen to his words, too busy lifting it up to inspect it again. hovers it underneath his nose to take a small sniff. shakes his head, standing. ]

I will go dispose of it, then.

[ momentarily snaps out of his daze, asking worriedly: ]

It's not going to give me food poisoning, right?

[ turns his head towards anthony, pausing in leaving. ]

No, your health is not in any danger. [ stops, rephrasing: ] Is not in any immediate danger.

Oh okay. [ leans back. ] You're awesome.

[ doesn't think much of the statement, merely inclining his head slightly before leaving to find a trashcan. ]

[ turns to jeremy: ]

He's awesome.

[ stares at him, blinking. ]

Um. . .

Repeat after me. He's awesome. He bought a darn laptop!

[ stares at anthony for a moment, speaking slowly. ]

Right. Right, he's. . . awesome.

[ after giving small nods to people who recognize and greet him he returns, once again taking a seat next to anthony. glances at jeremy in brief interest at his expression, growing uninterested in seconds to instead take a drink of his water. ]

[ flops against michael's side, pushing his nose into the other's shoulder experimentally. ]

You don't smell like pasta.

[ blinks at the statement, looking down at anthony. ]

That comes as a surprise to you?

[ rubs his face some more. ]

I don't think it should be. But it is, right now.

[ & this is about the time that she comes back, another bottle of beer in hand plus one sprite for anthony. hands it over, raising an eyebrow. ]

Wow, Juliet is gettin' a little comfortable with Romeo over here. A true Shakespeare classic in the making!

[ ignores the words, peeling himself away to lunge at the drink. ]

Sprite!

[ just gives it over, steadying the can when he takes it. ]

Whoa, there! You're gonna spill your precious if you aren't careful.

[ sips at it reverently. ]

I'm careful. [ tucks it close to his chest. ] Very careful. You're awesome too.

[ gives him a thumbs-up, taking her seat again. briefly smirks over at michael when he looks at her, also giving him a thumbs-up ~~but only to be a smartass~~ ]

[ siiiiip. ]

This is so good, guys. . .

Y'like it, huh. Well, there's more where that came from, so drink up!

But my bladder might hate me.

[ can't help but laugh loudly at him. ]

You can take a piss whenever you want, y'know! I can get you more and more and more delicious Sprite after that!
