[ after albert and brianna declared their plans to go out on a date for the rest of the evening, she took it upon herself to personally watch lyssa until they returned home, despite her former plans with her boyfriend. it's with that change (and realization of what she did at the very last moment) that she calls up caleb to tell him the news, sounding disappointed until she gleefully casually suggested that he come over to help. after some convincing that yes, albert won't be here and yes, she'll wait for him by the door, is done and over with, she happily skips down the stairs after telling lyssa's personal ninja butler that she'll be back shortly.

plops down on the second to last step of the stairs while happily swaying and humming to herself, her eyes planted on the doorway to wait for caleb to enter. ]

[ shakes her head and chuckles at his back, tipping the glass to take a long gulp of it. taps her fingers on the cup as she stares down at it, almost in thought... then pouts, sipping at it some more before switching back to english so she can properly voice the one thought on her mind at the moment: ]

You'd better not be living a lie, milk. I know where you live.

[ while that's going on in the living room, he's throwing on his comfortable shirt & pants. the only thing that takes some amount of time is the folding of his other clothes. after putting those away in his closet, he glances around to make sure there isn't any more offensive messes lying around in his room before padding back out to the living room. ]

< Ta-da! I'm done too! >

[ drinks down the last of her milk the moment he comes into view, raising her empty glass up high. ]

< Victory is ours! >

[ throws up both his arms in the air. ]

< Yes!! We both did good! >

[ stands up and quickly goes to rinse out her cup, placing it in the sink before trotting back on over to caleb to give him a hug. peeks up at him. ]

< Ready, superdog? >

[ gives her another hug. ]

< I am always ready! Whenever Nathan-ee-ah is! >

< Then let's go conquer that bed! >

[ ... is what she says, but in reality she's removing herself from caleb to take a running start towards the bedroom. flings herself onto the bed, landing face-first into a pillow that she then hugs to her chest when flipping to lay on her back. ]

[ yaps on after her, running into the doorway of his room as a result. yelps & reels back, clamping both hands over his face. blinks away the involuntary tear of pain (from his good eye) as he follows nathania toward the bed at a slower pace. ]

sits up after he comes completely into view, lifting her arms up towards him. ]

< Aw, are you okay? >

[ settles at the edge of his bed. his voice is a little stuffed sounding: ]

< I'm okay! I don't think it's bleeding. . . but I think I will have a purple nose tomorrow. >

[ wraps her arms around him anyway, rubbing his back in a soothing manner. ]

< And it'll be the cutest purple nose ever. >

[ leans back into her hold, bending his neck to press his forehead against her neck. lets out a content sigh. ]

< Maybe. . . but it'll be okay! As long as Nathan-ee-ah still likes me. >

[ turns her head to kiss his ear, nuzzling the spot after. ]

< I'll always like you, purple nose or not. >

[ gives her neck a small kiss & leans away so that he can properly crawl into the main bulk of the bed. takes one of nathania's hands & tugs at it, wanting her to also lie down. ]

< Then I will heal in two days! Less than two, because I am Nathan-ee-ah's superdog. >

[ crawls on top of the bed with his guidance, rolling to the side so she can wiggle out of the shorts (that keep slipping off anyway) and fold them. sets them to the side, wiggling closer to caleb again. ]

< And I will be awed and amazed. >

[ wraps his arms around her to pull her close to his chest again. ]

< Really?! >

[ cranes her neck a bit to smooch his neck. ]

< Really! >

[ gives her a gentle squeeze in return. ]

< Then I will try to recover in two days for Nathan-ee-ah! I will do it for sure! >

[ this gives her a sudden thought, peering up at him again. ]

< Are you busy tomorrow? We should do something! >

[ closes his eyes as he thinks. then shakes his head. ]

< What does Nathan-ee-ah want to do? >

< Go on a date? > [ eyes wander elsewhere in thought. ] < Maybe... >

< Okay! I read this in a book-- movie and dinner, yes? >

--no, focuses on the suggestion instead. thinks about this. thinks some more. ]

< I'd like that, but. Um. We can skip the movie, if you want. >

[ relaxes a bit & smiles into her hair gratefully. ]

< Erm. Is there something else we can do instead of a movie. . . ? I didn't read that far. >
